I miss doing CATWOMAN covers. I wanted to do more like this, in the murky film noir setting of Gotham City and its environs. I kinda like how Selina is disappearing into the shadows, and you can only tel her from from her leathery highlights.

On this one, Selina is actually witnessing a doppleganger of herself get shot, off-panel (it's OK; its a setup she concocted, with the doppleganger's aid, to fake her death). We didn't want to give away the end of the issue, but we knew it was the Big Moment and should be on the cover.

Finally, possibly one of the most successful pieces I've had lately in terms of getting what was in my mind, down on "paper" quickly and accurately.

More practice with backgrounds ! I will probably upload the background minus the two characters!

Lately they've pretty much destroyed the character of Cassandra Cain, and that bothers me. So in retaliation I do THIS! And pretend it is canon Who knows, maybe it will be some day *crosses fingers.* Tim and Cassie make an awesome couple. It's everywhere in comics, none of the writers seem to really acknowledge it though!

I wasn't too happy with the issue 5 cover. It just didn't do anything for me from the get go.

this one was quite easy, fast and fun to do. Some pieces come to life on their own. ( Also, I just finished Metal Gear Solid 4 when I did this one so the tech was inspired by it. Awesome game but I'm now saving myself for Fallout 3. I just hope Bethesda doesn't screw it up by using the same boring writing as Oblivion.)

I love how every person in this image is emoting some sort of personality. Hes taken a very static and straight forward shot and told 50 little stories within it. My favorite is the Beast with his prissy little leg-cross. If his sexual preference hadnt been revealed in the book just prior to this, this snap-shot might have dropped some serious hints. ]]>

This is it, the completed compilation of all the entries to mine and *cyberyt 's Linkin Park Angst Face Project. There were a total of 40 submissions, listed below.

The idea was to take the most angry, angsty webcam photo and send it to us. We suggested listening to linkin park to get people in the mood Although not all of the photos we received were angry, they all fulfilled the 'angst' requirement admirably.

*cyberyt has also created a flash video, putting all the entries to music. Check it out here.

Ok so its really an excuse to draw a really pretty face, but I think I got captured her feel pretty well here. I think its the best face I've done so far...I'll upload a close up of it to the scraps if someone's interested.

Anyhow the pants. I was trying out a new texture techique for it and I think it worked really well. And to think I was gonna draw her without pants .

Was contemplating whether to put her in the suit or normal clothes...Well the pants answered THAT question...

Not sure if the gun is totally accurate, the ref pic I had was at the opposite angle.

I really need to work on my bgs...

Ok so its really an excuse to draw a really pretty face, but I think I got captured her feel pretty well here. I think its the best face I've done so far...I'll upload a close up of it to the scraps if someone's interested.

Anyhow the pants. I was trying out a new texture techique for it and I think it worked really well. And to think I was gonna draw her without pants .

Was contemplating whether to put her in the suit or normal clothes...Well the pants answered THAT question...

Not sure if the gun is totally accurate, the ref pic I had was at the opposite angle.

I really need to work on my bgs...

Photoshop, spent most the afernoon and evening on it! I seem to be ditching Opencanvas.....Im starting to forget why i used it in the first place lol....I dont know why but i used to pump out a painting in 4hours with OC...In photoshop it takes ALLOT longer...Also i feel it looks better? I dont know....What do you think?

This is NEYO....I liked his CD, pretty kool.....Thought i would paint the guy!

Background brush is one of Enaylas brushes ....I like the effect! I couldnt decide what the background colour should be, i changed it so many times....IM still unsure lol
