A painting that took quite some time^^ I did the sketch 1 year ago, but pretty much forgot about that and finished it today. I´m not quite happy with the result yet, especially the composition still bothers me, but I don´t know where exactly and what to do about that :/
Anyway, it was fun to paint and I loved the pixel fucking in the end XD

I was trying to save more drawings for a future artbook, but I'm going to be selling these as prints at cons and I don't want them to be posted online first by someone else Q__Q so I'll probably post them in the next month or two slowly... MY EFFORTS TO SAVE WAS IN VAIN but you will get more glorious carciphona pics

my fb hit 10k likes last month and I asked everyone what they wanted to see in celebration, and a tutorial was one of the popular choices! So I painted this freshly and recorded the entire process. I will organize it once I have the time and make a video/pictorial tutorial out of it! In the meantime pls bathe in sexual tension

a lot of ppl asked for large resolution pics too for celebration, but I couldn't think of a way to distribute these without risking some asshole taking it and selling it. In the end I decided it's just one drawing, I can shoulder some damage to give my followers something they want, so here it is available for download! click on the download button to save a large version of this piece I know this request will fall on the wrong ears but please DO NOT repost the full version for download anywhere else or sell this image in anyway shape or form, tangible or intangible (please report any abuse and violators to me!) the contrast of colours is really good on this cover.
i thin it leads the eye from left to right very well.
i'm afraid Ami comes off as depressed or depressing sometimes.
she's not a happy girl, but she's definitely not depressed.
she's just always thinking.
and if you've ever encountered someone who's always thinking,
or you are that type of person.
then you know that the quiet internal, universal, reflection just makes you look
depressed to people who aren't always thinking.
and you look especially depressed to those people who are so lobotamized by
the distractions of the world that... you know what? this is not the place for
a rant.

Better gAteway does what the title says — it takes deviantART's new outgoing link gateway and makes it better! But not only that, it adds new, exciting features related to the use of outgoing links in posts around dA!

What Better gAteway does:
Makes the gateway message appear faster as an overlay, without additional load time
Revamps the gateway message to display the entire URL up front
Adds the ability to create your own whitelist with sites you would always trust not to serve malware, and no gateway will be displayed at all when navigating to those!
Adds the ability to display links to external media (images or YouTube videos) directly inline in the dA post, it was referred. This can optionally be set to happen automatically when you click whitelist'd links
Optionally, adds external link icons near all external links (or only those not on your whitelist)
Almost every feature is customizable from the built-in Preferences panel!
^{A couple of other small details as well!}

New features just added in 1.0beta2 on June 1st:
Google Video support
Even if you have the gateway turned on, it will now still automatically embed videos and images, if you have that set to on. So you don't have to use the gateway to get embeds!
You can now easily close embedded external media again, just click the new lil' close button next to the media!
You can now open external media inside an easily closable pop-up panel (“lightbox”) in addition to inline, and choose which one of those two methods you prefer!
In addition to the external link icons, you can also choose to let the script add little external media icons next to external media links, so you can see from a distance if it's an image or a video.
^{If you already have the script installed, simply download it again to get these new features.}

This userscript is sort of an amalgamation of all ideas related to the deviantART outgoing links gateway and external links in general — you can make it do what you want, and if you've got some new great ideas, please send me a note, and I'll consider adding them! This is still a beta version.

Me llevo mucho tiempo pero al fin lo termine XD. La animacion es una parodia del opening de Tales of the World Radiant Mythology (No se si es un juego o un anime, lo encontre de casualidad XD) pasarlo a estilo sonic fue complicado D:, pero me gusta el resultado XD.

This was actually a project for my Advanced Analogue and Digital Animation class in second semester last year (Oct 2009).

I intended to upload this to my gallery a few days after its completion but I wasn't able to due to the audio track. I never got around to removing the music until now, so here it is without sound. Originally the music was Yoko Kanno's "Ragnarok Online 2 Intro Theme" (first minute). You can view the animation with the song on my temporary website [here].

so i was working on this a few months ago. i was gonna do a little more with it, but something else came up. so im calling it.

the last thing i was gonna do was have the camera slowly zoom in and eventually the light would reveal just open cuffs and an empty chair. then i was gonna add the audio from "The Usual Suspects"

"the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he doesn't exist, and just like that... he's gone."

i have a story for this character too. he's a legendary hit man and his story is told through witnesses different perspectives. the stories are embellished and have him doing outrageous stuff.

anyway, i hope you dig it

Something that started as something more humble but decided to grow a bit in scale C:. This is my half of a trade with the very patient and lovely hawaiianstile who made me a beautiful and extremely dangerous sharktooth pendant (and there's really no safe way of storing it, I discovered !). Since Keone loves to dive, I knew I wanted to depict his character under water from the start but I just never knew what I wanted to do. As always this started with a bunch of waffling about in photoshop..I got a bit carried away with this piece, but I hope you enjoy it ^_^. I am habitually slow with art trades and hence why I usually don't take them, or if I do, request that the other party finish their half after I finish mine ;D!. The fish are Teardrop Butterflyfish which can be found in the waters around Hawaii.

I've had this character since I was thirteen, but I've rarely drawn her! I don't know why!?! I'm a terrible mother. Poor thing must've had a massive identity crisis. Luckily she's been equipped with the ability to FUCK YOU UPPPP.

_{PS. Man, sorry she seems like such a "scenester" in this piece. But I promise you she actually eats houses for breakfast, and doesn't just use "im da bitch of ur dreamz" slogans on her MySpace or whatever. She doesn't even have a MySpace.}

Tutorial Time Episode 1?

4 or 5 people suggested I do a coloring tutorial [in Flash]. I wanted to animate the tutorial from the get-go, but didn't have any ideas of how to make it entertaining. I had a different idea and the audio already recorded (basic spoken instructions with some bad jokes thrown in) but I hated it. Anywho, on the way home from work, nothing was on the radio, so I started playing with the "I am T-pain" app on my iphone, picked the "bartender" track and improvised the audio in this Flash. After that I just did some [very] limited animation with the screenshots I had for the text version of the tutorial that got scrapped.

tl;dr version: I freestyled the song in the car and drew pictures to it.

I'd like to do more animated tutorials. Any ideas? Don't worry, I don't HAVE to sing in them

I'll have to redo that intro so I can use it on non-flash tutorials.

The company who saved the entire videogame home console industry after the North American Videogame Crash of 1983. The company who have given us classic games such as Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda and Metroid along with modern classics such as Pokémon, Pikmin and Super Smash Bros. Vivid and dynamic fullbody animation fight in a forest near the temple. Mongolian warrior stops swordmaster's meditation with his attack, and here starts the fight.

duration 1 min 30+ sec. animation was done for 3.5 months. music used

I stopped animating sometimes and thrice changed the style- so sorry if it's too visible.
I tried to change the conception of swordmasters fightings, we can see in animes and some films, where is no action only speaking and pathos, to only fighting, as I imagine the real swordfight.

Ok as I could see the questions somebody has are already arisen, so I'll try to answer them:

please tell me, where is the difference between colour, line thickness or pure formless movement in attitude to conception of a movie I've created?
conception does not depend on form at all, form can be absolutely varieble.
Probably you will say, I also should mention all the colour patterns, and creators of macromedia flash including their parents and all the books of art that inspired me?

This work is a complete system I've created, and movement, motion, composition, colourscheme are atomic parts of it, that doesn't exist without a form.

And this form is mine.
Also some of those atomic parts were repicked from smb's other picks if you understand what am I saying, I've recopied them with the full understanding, what am I doing, making a copy of a copy, so I cannot really say where was it picked first. Versions you're giving are based only at the fact you've seen something with the same motion and just because this version of motion is more popular you have that opinion.

If you have enough time for things, like forum topics, comparing sequenses and mentioning all the atomic parts of smb's work with all of their repics- - its your way.
If you want to do it do it yourself.

Aaire is from race created before the actual gods. But one day something went terribly wrong and most of them went on rampage so Kerin had no choice but to annihilate them D: (Aaire was lucky to survive). Gods were created after to keep the balance in the force, and they don't really like this race, and viceversa XD; So friendship between Aaire and Okami is kinda tabooish *3* Okami is god of the nature~

Yay finally finished! 19 characters in all! I've never did such a complicated picture before. First I had to get the room perspective right and then draw all the animals. The person with the bunny hood and 3D glasses in the corner is my character.

What do you think of the coloring? Is it too messy or does it look okay? I think some of the pencil lines are still showing through.
