Okay, so... This is my entry for 's "Paint my OC" contest. [link] (It, of course, doesn't stand a chance against some awesomely professional entries submitted for the contest but I have more personal reasons for wishing to participate in this contest than winning).

I have so much more to say about it so do excuse me as I proceed to ramble now. xD

First of all. OMG, this took me so many hours! *dies* No, seriously, I think this beat the previous record time of mine of working on a single drawing (back then those were roughly 40 hours, I believe). ~~Yes, I am am THAT slow, indeed. Not even joking.~~ And it is done. I feel empty. And so very pleased since I pretty much pushed myself to new limits with this work. ^^

Now. Previously I mentioned that I had a personal reason for taking part in the contest. Let me tell you why. It was about... 4 years ago when I colored my first lineart _{(first attempts in GIMP, oooooh, the nostalgic memories~)}. It was a simple lineart I found on dA. When I was done, I was quite proud with the outcome, printed it out and brought to school to show to others too. Someone asked me if I drew the lines also and back then I lied that I did. Oddly enough, it gave me a slight push art-wise. I realized that I wanted to be able to create a lineart like that one day as well.
At this very moment I am not too far from that anymore and it makes me extremely happy. And I decided to redo this and push my limits once more to see what I could achieve if I tried enough. This time without lying, however.
And finally the lineart is turned into a vision that I had in my mind. And I can't help but wonder if after another 4 years I'll be able to create a lineart and fully finish a drawing in this level without forcing myself as much. ...We'll see in 4 years, I guess? XD

Also, why did I pick this lineart? I couldn't resist. This girl was so angelic and beautiful that I just wanted to try and attempt to breathe a life into her. I hope it worked out well. ^^

Okay. I am done rambling. If you actually read this - you are my hero in patience, indeed. xD

This is my entry for tincek-marincek's contest Paint My OC.

I chose to colour this lineart so I'm in category 2C.

I had a great time colouring this, haven't done this in a long while.

This was my first try on SAI and let me tell you : I liked it!
I used the Watercolour B texture and the water tool after some brush strokes. Couldn't really recreate the watercolour effect but I like it anyway.

This is my entry for *tincek-marincek's "Paint My OC" contest [link] for Category 2.

Gawd this took me forever to color... I had fun with it though and the background was a bit of an experiment and a learning curve. And omg whyyyyyy did I decide that those diamonds should be little mirror type shards? there were over 30 layers on just those diamonds alone.

I am crossing my fingers and hoping I win a prize from this coz the prizes are freakin amazing, but I'm not holding my breath. There are some awesome entries in it.
But either way, I'm pretty stoked with how it turned out so I guess that's a win in itself! YAY!

If I get time I might try to complete another entry before it ends on Sunday... we'll see.

Finally I made it!!! This is my entry for the Coloring Category of the "Draw My OC" Contest by the amazing couple *tincek-marincek!!!
I can't believe I made it
I've been working on this picture for a looooong time.. maybe for too much! ^^'
So... let's give some numbers about this pic:
-Photoshop CS3 and CS5
-Wacom Intuos 4
-5 files
-More than 210 levels
-Maaaaaaaaaany maaaaany hours (I've started this pic on july, but procrastinated it till now... -_-'')

I really liked this lineart *O* it's so romantic and nostalgic... melancholic!
At first the characters reminded me of the ancient legends about the love between the Sun and the Moon, so I had decided to give it a "galaxy theme", but then I changed my mind and.. it became something similar, but with Winter and Summer!
Obviously she's supposed to be Winter and him Summer and I wanted to express the longing between two lovers who can only visit each other in some rare, cold, magic nights...
I hope I did it right
I must admit I really like the effect of her "fading away"! I hope you like it too!! ^^

So.... keep your fingers crossed for me!!! *O*

Mainly because I saw the lineart for it ([link]) and couldn't resist coloring such a lovely, complex piece. (Or I saw someone else's colored version and thought I could do better, my memory's a bit fuzzy. Either way.)

It was a really fun challenge to get enough variety and coherence out of my limited supply of Copics; I think I did all right, and hopefully others agree with me. (Gradients and blending are two of my favorite things EVER. )

Unfortunately, while coloring went rather smoothly, it took forever once I was done to get to a working scanner, and by the time I did so, I didn't want to do more than crop and upload. We're going to pretend that I've done so on the principle of letting the art stand on its own without digital corrections, and not out of sheer laziness.

Lineart and characters are © tincek-marincek, though I only "met" them through the contest and have no idea who they are.

I had so much fun making this...at first i cannot decide on the color scheme so i made two, the fist one was in the shade of fire (RED) and the second was in the shade of water (BLUE GREEN)...but i was not satisfied with neither of them so i merged both and ended up with this...heheh and i loved it....

my own description is as follows:
Love sometimes makes me BLIND...I didn't notice that my love can make you blind too...even reaching to the point where my blindness hurt you...when the time comes that you realize that you can see the light all along and that your blindness was just a lie made by me...I'll be prepared for your rage...but for now I'll make my tears invisible to you...

First of all this awesomely spectacular lineart [link] belongs to and this is my entry for their contest [link] . I love how beautiful and detailed the lineart looks, but all the details were a bit confusing at first, so there are some little mistakes xD. I also thinned the lines in some places.

It feels like this was the only thing I've been doing all summer XD (Actually I practically spent my whole summer reading ASoIaF, so this is the only art piece I had time and motivation for)

Anyway, I'm not sure how my coloring goes with the tittle... It's up to everyones interpretation XD...

I don't think I ever colored something so complicated XD, but I do like how the coloring came out a lot, except maybe for a few things...
_{Logical lighting sources? No, never heard of them
Correct anatomy of muscles? No, never heard of it
And some things seriously misses shadows...}

I wanted to add some cool looking tattoo to the guys arm cause it looks a bit too empty compared to everything else, but I just couldn't think of anything :/

I love space art, it's so pretty. My first try at it might not be very good, but I hope it's not too bad either.

I'm kinda tired of staring at this picture and thinking what could be improved...

DOWNLOAD if you want the full size with all the details, I think the best size would be the screen's size, though DA didn't give me such option as full view. And I hate how DA lowers image quality when it's up for downloading, it's really irksome... :/

I actually like the fact that I could spend my time coloring it and not work on the line art. I think this is the best coloring thing I've ever done. I should do more for my portfolio...
