So Megatron is not ready this time so I turned to Bumblebee. It was a lot of fun to design him actually I have more than three design but it will come up later.

First i tried to make his hair look like his helmet with those little horn-thingies but I think that would weird and suddenly I remember Avril Lavige with her horn-hood. So hood with horn ))

The design had a Autobots logo tattoo ( the same with all my other Transformers design ) on his shoulder but u can't see cuz his clothes cover it. May be you could see in the next design.

About his outfit....well, I made him a teenager so his outfit must be look fit to his age, give him a sneaker, some powerful stripe...like that. Black n yellow Black n yellow Black n yellow Black n yellow

I'm not sure i were to give him an age, may be 16 or 17. I have no time to make his emotions and expressions, I might do it next time. He look kinda serious in this but no, not at all eh ?

TRANSFORMERS Size Chart

Made this chart to assist me with various stuff.

Please note that these are my interpretations of the sizes and that they will thus vary with other, official media. Those typically just do 'whatever' where sizes are concerned anyway, which means there IS no real size convention for any of the media apart from what's an average size. Those tend to be 'default to nearest average'-sizes though and are as such still random.

As far as I'm concerned these are the actual sizes based on logic, concerning character types I might use in my fancomic. Though I might adapt the ones here for logic sake as well (not for convenience) and would then run consistently with that. One example would be Micromasters with large altmodes: those might actually end up being slightly larger than Minibots to allow humans inside (even if cramped, the altmodes need a function).

CITYBOTS
Personally I don't think all Citybots are equal in size. Haven't even included them all in the chart (yet) since it'd get a bit cramped in the image on one hand and because I'm not fully determined to which size convention I'll use for them. For now, XII is a placeholder based on the G1 cartoon.

However, I'll share with you my logic on them and what they'll probably be:

Scorponok for example seems to be more along the lines of a Combiner to Guardian Robot due to his humanoid Headmaster.

However, Fortress Maximus would be a bit larger again (due to cerebros having a robot headmaster for head) and would probably end up on the Omega Supreme scale.

Alternatively, I could run with the Japanese variant of Headmasters and ignore the Nebulons and Rebirth (!), which means they'd be robots not organics; meaning I could scale Zarak to any size I'd want allowing me to use Scorponok on Fort Max size. If both have robots for heads I could make them even larger, but then the headmasters would have to be the size of Optimus or larger, which isn't my intention.

That leaves a few more citybots.

Sizing for Metroplex though would be independent of Metrotitan, as I'd base Metrotitan and Grandus around Micromasters. Metroplex and Trypticon could be based on regular size TFs, which would make them even bigger (note that this sizing would also affect some, but not all of their partners!). So yes, that'd mean Scorponok and Fort Max would not be the same size as Trypticon and Metroplex as each would be scaled on a different type of user. From this the following size comparison follows:

Humanoid race (Scorponok/Fort Max) -> Micromaster (Grandus/Metrotitan) -> Normal size (Metroplex/Trypticon).

Als note that Grandus will have no direct sizing relation to Star Convoy, even though the toy allows them to link up in 'vehicle mode'. IMO though a truck pulled aircraft carrier of humongous size is silly and wouldn't work. Grandus works better as a semi-subsurface base of operations.

Just like I did here, I thought I'd put up a short excerpt from the second Webfoot Chronicle, "Sea of Green". This one is not even a full chapter, it's approximately half and it takes place right around the middle of the fic.

For some minor context, Bushroot has overrun the city with plants; Beth was in a unique position to be able to escape her imprisonment but was instantly captured by roving planty-type street patrols. Meanwhile Darkwing is catching up on his sleep.

Okay so every now and then people will make forum posts: [link] suggesting dA make a version of this private notebook feature that some sites have been implementing lately and everyone's always like "THAT'S A LAME IDEA BITCH" so I thought maybe this would help, because I don't think it's a lame idea at all.

_{(And yeah, it's just a rough example and I'm not saying it has to look like this, and I don't know how it would work if you didn't have it on your top bar, but you get the idea. And there's some space on the right side for.. I don't even know what. Maybe something, but maybe nothing, because it's a super simple feature. Maybe bold and italic buttons could go there.)}

Reasons it would be cool:

*It's better than using MSword because you can get to it from anywhere.

*It's better than using Google Docs or something similar because you won't have to remember to check your notes and then go sift through a bunch of documents to find one tiny but important thing you wrote to yourself 2 weeks ago.

*It's better than writing a list on your hand because a shower won't be able to screw up your plans.

*It's better than sticky notes because those things just don't stick when you need them to. D:

*If you're on dA all the time, maybe even a great deal more than any other site, like I KNOW a lot of people are, you'll see it every day.

*It's right there. All the time.

*It would (ideally) automatically save (or have a simple save button) and automatically be editable, all the time, like a piece of paper is.
No messing with anything.

*You don't have to have it on your top bar if you don't want to use the feature. You can just forget it exists if you want to, because it's not intrusive.

*As ~dire-musaera mentioned, it would come in very handy for an account used by multiple people!

Keeping up with the series and a nice little companion for "Smartass" and "Pain In The Ass" posters.

Sarcasm. Quite a dangerous weapon in the smartass' arsenal! It can bring laughter or destruction. Once again, it's all about timing, as well as the battlefield.

There are two phrases that say "nobody likes a smartass" and "sarcasm is anger's ugly cousin." I tend to agree with these, but only up to a level. I don't think they can be used as widely accurate statements. I myself admire witty sarcasm and don't always see or express anger when using sarcasm. How is it anger when your aim is to make someone laugh or chuckle?

Yes, angry sarcasm is abusive and sucks. Plus, it doesn't really help. There should be an "Anrgy Sarcasm Non-Proliferation Treaty" or something like it. However, friendly sarcasm (which can only be used among trusting, friendly company) is quite amusing. But it is crucial that you pick your stage properly!

I have used it myself for as long as I can remember. By the same token, I have had it used on me quite a few times with excellent results!

That is how I feel about this subject. What about you?

Edit: Oh look! A Daily Deviation! Now I get to spend my day cleaning up my message center that I was keeping so clean and tidy! See what I did there? I was all clever using sarcasm again But kidding, of course. Thank you very much!

This was a commission for *toonqueen, who, as both a friend and proud owner of the mary-sue club, won't be offended when I say DUDE YOU HAVE THE WEIRDEST CHARACTERS IMAGINABLE. As a biology major my soul cried a little at some of the stuff going on in this chart, but it's all in good fun. I liked making my own TFA version of Mirage and a few other characters from G1 that weren't in TFA.

This is what comes from a crazy RP with *toonqueen. Twin sparklings from Skywarp and an OC of mine(Dayshield). The insect wings come from the Insecticons(some how).

The purple one is Starstryke(named partial from Starscream) and unfortunately has a bit of Skywarp's cowardice.

Okay guys I'd REALLY need your opinions on this one!

I recently thought about another idea for a comic I had in mind since a while. I started the draft of it but then stoped. I wasn't really sure. But if I show this to you and you tell me what you think, it could help me getting decided on if I do it or NOT.

---> Here's the situation: Not very long after the "last" ep, the Autobots are living a long moment of peace and calm, and they're taking the occasion to relax and make reparations. Bumblebee falls in love with Arcee, but will try to remain far from her because he knows that Ratch loves her too, and that she's in a way his girlfriend. But slowly, this will get him upset and Ratch will start observing him, suspecting that Bumblebee tries to steel Arcee's love and affection.
->Will this grantly affect their friendship?

So... there it is. And I kept wondering... Days during, about if I really should continue this comic. Maybe it will take me too much time and I just should abandon the idea.

As the youngest and most inexperienced crew member of the Ark, Bumblebee is often looked down upon by his shipmates. Due to his youth and short stature, Bumblebee is very self-conscious and constantly tries to prove himself as a worthy soldier. He is extremely impulsive and has directly disobeyed Optimus Primes orders on multiple occasions, frequently biting off more than he can chew and depending on his friends help to pull through in one piece. Despite his rash nature in combat, Bumblebee is quite amicable amongst his allies, and has taken more initiative than any other Autobot in befriending the humans of Earth.

Bumblebees speed and agility in both modes are his greatest assets. In vehicle mode, he can reach a top speed of nearly 200mph, surpassed only by his teammate Mirage. While his sprightliness acts as a great defense, Bumblebees offensive capabilities are severely lacking. His only weapons, befitting his original role as junior mechanic aboard the Ark, are a pair of stingers that deploy from each of his forearms. Designed primarily for welding and jump-starting discharged circuitry, the stingers can also fire off bursts of plasma which are painful but non-lethal to Transformers. His visor, nominally used for welding duty, also doubles as a battle mask.

_{Welp, the most obvious inspiration for the design here is Animated Bumblebee, which became more evident as I went on. I chose the Scion xA as a vehicle mode because there's one in the parking lot and work and I'll be damned if it isn't the smallest car I ever did see. But it also happens to look pretty much exactly like Animated Bee's vehicle mode. Oops.

As far as personality goes, he's still based largely on his Animated counterpart, but I think he's less dickish. There's equal amounts of Armada-era Hot Shot (who I also drew some design elements from, namely the navy blue secondary color and visor) and early Cheetor (although he's not my "Cheetor character"). He's also got a bit of G1 Bee in him, namely the fact that he has the most interaction with humans, as opposed to Animated, where they pretty much all do.

And then we've got the transformation scheme, which actually isn't based on any existing incarnation of the character, but rather on an original character of mine named Pronto, who turned into a PT cruiser which has a similar-enough shape to carry over. I realized after I had designed and drawn him out that there wasn't any place for his stingers to go, so I decided that his weapons and his fists can alternatingly slide into his forearm (like Universe Ironhide's gun/sword thing) and then rotate 180 degrees, which actually works since the elbow joints are attached to the inside of the door and not the forearm. PROBLEM SOLVED.

Revision Edits (2/3/12): Slight color modifications (darker blues and blacks, more contrast in yellow shading). A slightly modified head design (broader visor, additional black detailing) with a new mugshot to follow suit. Also added a hollowed-out area behind the rear window in his left shin, which makes it a little less... toyetic, I guess? Still not loving how much empty space is above his head because of how wide the illustration is, but he's a short guy so I guess it makes sense.}

Next up: Starscream. I'm really picking them out of left field here huh folks

It's has been eons since I've drawn anything Digimon related. I figured that my own personal digimon needed an overdue makeover. Foxymon's line has evolved into bunnies, thus Foxymon isn't Foxymon anymore, but I kept the names of her baby and in-training forms. Still figuring out attack names and stuff.
