Minuet 2.0 [updated]

Minuet 2.0 is a mod of the awesome minimalist Minuet lockscreen. Beside featuring the (slightly altered) Minuet lockscreen, it also features a themed passcode and call interface.

The default version of Minuet has a semi-translucent status bar. If you want the status bar to blend in, download this add-on and place it above Minuet in Winterboard. You will also need to download BlackOut from Cydia to fix the status bar in Photos app.

I tested it on my iPhone 5 running 6.1. Should you come across any problems, please download the most up-to-date version of Minuet 2.0 here to see if it fixes your problem. If not, please make a screenshot and post it in this thread

The status bar dots are by ~bblake and can be found here.

Other tweaks used are Springtomize 2 to hide the carrier logo, OpenNotifier for status bar notifications, Bolt to hide the battery icon and Bytafont to change the font (font used is Klill), all of which can be found on Cydia.

Introducing my latest iOS 7 concept, Mission Control.

Since multitasking was introduced in iOS 4, I was slightly disappointed that Apple used only a small percentage of the screen for it, leaving the rest of the screen unused.

Mission Control takes advantage of the whole screen and adds more functionality to the iPhone 5's extra 176 pixels. Enter Mission Control by pressing the home button twice or swiping from the bottom up, and exit by pressing the home button.

Update 1.1 This update includes:
Redesigned Quick Settings UI, and
Edits to playback controls.

The soil is pressed onto the sides - crushed chocolate digestive biscuits and cake crumbs.
Behind the dude are materials to be collected after he's destroyed the blocks.
Stability helped with cocktail sticks and paperclips!

Bubble Gum Skype Chat Style

Dear people of deviantART and the internet, I present: Bubble Gum, a Skype Chat Style.

My friend and Designer James and I decided over a month ago that we would enter the Skype Chat Style Contest. After his amazing job creating the design it was my job to turn it into CSS.

The Skype chat CSS is a pain. It's cluttered, nested in a way that is inhuman and not very easy to understand fast enough IMHO. I had that confirmed by James, who heard a lot of complains about it all over the web.

The reason we decided to release it already is simple: We tried hundred of times to submit it to the Skype contest but all we got were auto-generated rejection emails indicating either that it just didn't work (without any explanation WHAT didn't work) or that the CSS was missing (which is bogus, we've checked several times. It's in there!).

Eventually we got fed up and even though we won't win anything now (tbh I doubt anyone will win anything. It acts too much of a scam if you ask me) we didn't want to throw away the big effort we put into the theme and instead share the wealth.

Enjoy this theme like we're enjoying it. And feel free to tell us about any bugs or importances we forgot to add.

This is a Zune Software modification for Zune Software 4.7. This mod was created by me ONLY on this version of ZS.
This mod changes the default color scheme (pink-orange) into "azure" one (blue-violet).
You are free to edit this mod, but you have to add a link to my original one.
I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ERRORS RESUTLING FROM USING MY MOD.

2. INSTALLATION ========================================

a) Go to ZS directory (C:\Program Files\Zune) and BACKUP THE ORIGINAL FILES:

- UIXcontrols.dll
- Zune.exe
- ZuneShellResources.dll

b) Just unrar and copy my modded files into ZS directory. You have to overwrite them.

iShortcuts for Rainmeter WIP

So this solution is until (if ever) someone creates an actual fully functional app as I described in my recent journal.

Me and Xyrfo decided to recreate this for rainmeter. What started out as just a bunch of icons is now a highly customizable and functional icon suite. Complete with automatic resolution-aware icon rearranging (xyrfo pushing rainmeter to it's edge again).

Must say, this turned out better than expected, and I think a lot of you will like its functionality as well as its looks.

The only thing we can't be sure about is folders.

For years, our smartass comrades have taken flak. Speak up against the politically correct pigdogs!

While I will concede the point that timing is our biggest weapon as well as our nemesis, far too often people try to shut us down merely because they are uptight idiots who not only try to keep us quiet when its not convenient, but also make funny or witty remarks just to be shut down themselves (karma, biatch).

The true smartass is 100%. Not only can h/she dish it out with the best timing and in good taste, but receives it and appreciates it as a reminder to take a step back and lighten up.

Seriously, though. Lighten up. And fellow smartasseswork on your timing, for only a smartass who knows when to fire is a true master of wisecracking.

Design....err well nothing fancy, as you can see. The point was simple, and the design needed to match that.

What is a METRO

METRO is codename for Windows Phone Design System. It's modern, clean, light and open design with no shadows, glows or gradients.

The Design

The Design of these icons it's based on the METRO style, with cleared, straight forms and pure typography. Most of the parts are just basic shapes - circles and rectangles, combine in the best way.

What's in the package

There is 7 main sections, with total 209 icons*3 colours - white, blue and black (overall 627 icons). The files are 256 x 256px ico files (from 16 to 256px) and 256 x 256px png files.

Most of these icons are normal stuff for a computers or smartphones. There are included icons for web browsers, social networks, mobile operators, there are some standard software packages, system icons, and such as multimedia and navigation systems.

The design of all icons, which are registered trademarks and logos belong to their respective owners. You can see the preparation of these icons in Illustrator - [link]

How to use it

The ico files it's for your Windows OS. Just replace the original icon from the Properties dialogue in any program or folder.

The png files are for Windows Mobile OS, Android, iOS and Linux OS. There are a lot of programs, that allows to change the icons of these OS.

My recommendations for the background are - since the icons are with one solid colour, use dark bg for the white and blue versions and light for the black.

Revolution Against Hatred

In my life, I'm going to start a revolution against unwarranted negativity.
Judging is a big thing for me. I've lost good friendships because I let it control me. Now I see those friends follow that same path and it breaks my heart.
I want to challenge people. I want to save them heartache down the road. But it's like that guy from survivingtheworld.net said, nobody really wants to be Batman, because he sacrifices himself and his reputation to make the world a better place. No one is selfless enough to do that. But we can try.

CLARIFICATION: I am not condemning rants or anger! I am a strong advocate for standing up for oneself, or those who cannot for themselves, etc. This is a rant itself. I keep a diary, and think that ranting is actually healthy. It helps you organize your thoughts so that you can stand firmer on what you believe. It releases stress, and is totally better than punching someone in the face. What I've found to be true, however, is that I feel so much better if I wait a while to post that rant. I'm no longer blinded by my anger, using it then constructively (because it's not bad to be angry!) or more eloquently. I really wish I could have gone into deeper things with this, but I couldn't if I wanted to hold people's attention. The hate and negativity I am attacking is the pointless "I'm going to blame anything but myself" kind. I'm a girl who celebrates the French Revolution every year, I think it's safe to say I support getting angry.
Sorry for the confusion. I didn't think more than ten people would see this.

DISCLAIMER: tl;dr, I'm a hypocritical bitch myself.

I am well aware of the irony and utter hypocrisy in this piece, believe me! It's a rant, yes, but I hoped to put a positive and constructive spin on it by making it a call to action. I wrote this because, first and foremost, I am angry at myself. I am royal screw up when it comes to this subject, so posting this doesn't make me a hero. It gives me less of an excuse to mess up. But I firmly believe that just because the messenger shoots himself in the foot doesn't mean the message itself is faulty. We can still rise above this.

Thanks, everyone. If this inspires you, please share! If not, thanks for coming by anyway. If it makes you angry--well, good! We ultimately need people like you to point out the idiots and hypocrites in society, otherwise, we would not grow. And through all my faults, that's my goal.

I would like to present you my new visual style called Zune QuickPlay
This is is totally inspired by the great Zune Player from Microsoft.
I decided to make this theme cause i really like the dark and white interface of Zune player and thought it would be nice to have a visual style that looks like Zune.

This theme is really hard to make cause it has so many font locations that are really hard to find and make them look good with the theme.

The white alternative will be released soon

Also note that i already know the bugs of the theme, i just didn't found a way to fix theme yet.

Since today is my birthday I wanted to give a little present to everyone here.
