This is my entry for the #ChaosWalking contest about drawing a scene from one of the books. I don't ave exact numbers, but this is the second to last Viola chapter in Monsters of Men, after The Sky shoots Todd. I loved this scene so much. It was amazingly written. I just loved all the raw emotion

this is a picture of todd and viola from the book the knife of never letting go by patrick ness - it's an amazing book - really recommend reading it!
i couldn't remember what todd and viola are supposed to look like so i made it up - if you've read the book please comment and tell me if you know cos i'd like to do more pictures of it
i don't think it's particularly violent/gory but i thought i'd put up a warning anyway in case it offends anyone

YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY!!!!!!!!! This was my favorite part from The Knife of Never Letting Go (and my least favorite at the same time). This is in the last chapter, right before it ends. I still remember where I was when I read it, and this was my reaction when I finished it:

A Chaos Walking Halloween

My contest entry for Halloween contest.

The idea for this is that it's Todd and Davy's first Halloween on New World. Viola told Todd about it then the Mayor hear about it so he made in into a Holiday. Viola get Todd his costume and Mayor get Davy his.

Todd is dress up as a video character that I like. Maybe you guys might know who he is? Reason why Viola pick that is well....haha.

Viola...I have no idea why I keep making her a prevy character. She dress as a cat-girl...why? Well, Someone has to dress up as a cat.

Davy is a good-old vampire. Not like these new vampire.../cough/Twilight/cough/ >3>

And the Mayor is a vampire hunter who is...well going to kill the vampire....

Well thats it! This was mainly for fun, not to win the contest.

Fanart from the best book series in the world! All you Twilight fans can finally find something else to obsess about! (Lol, joking! Don't flame me for that plz.)

This is based off of the cover of the first book, The Knife of Never Letting Go. Dawn Over New World is not a book, but I thought it would be nice to put where the title should be.

The series is called the Chaos Walking Trilogy. (I wish there were more books, but that wouldn't work out with the ending!)

Well, damn, Viola thats what i said too....jeez took them long enough

My only regret about this scene was that i REEEAAAALLLYY wanted to know what was going through Todd's head while this was going on. My best guess is this:

ohmygodohmygodohmygodviolaviolaviolajesusohMYGODOHMYGODVIOLAVIOLAVIOLA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

with about like......15 hundred more exclamation marks and 15 hundred more "VIOLA"'s hahahahahaaa

Well, whatever, i was still happy with it. I've been wanted to draw this scene for a while but i wanted to make sure i did it right. I didn't want to half-ass it or something....

ANNNywayz, theres a contest going on for #ChaosWalking and i believe this might be my entry.

I hope its good enough! I wanted to pick a really important scene and there were so many to choose from and so many i had ALREADY DRAWN!!!!!

Chaos Walking: Endgame

The final battle between Todd and Mayor Prentiss was the most awsome part of the final book. >u<

I did the sketch two days ago and wanted to finish it so here it is! Both of them are close to death. Todd is cover in blood and the Mayor went well mad with hearing noise and not having one. Poor guy. I know in the book, todd didn't hurt his arm and the mayor did but...this looks better in my mind when I was drawing it. =u=
