[EDIT] = I've just gone over some of the frames to make it a little smoother. A few mistakes were made while rushing through this and I think they're a bit more ironed out now. Also, fortunately, I was early enough to get this in with the other entries in time (still a fairly close call though) [/EDIT]

Oh man. This felt a bit rushed. Understandably though, since I think the contest deadline is like. HALF AN HOUR AWAY

If I made it in time... then I'm amazed. If I'm too late, that's too bad. (least I made it anyways). Unfortunately this was terribly late because of my holiday to Blackpool. And when I got back, I forgot that relatives were visiting for another week the moment I got back. Leading to no real available time at home on the computer. Never mind animating emotes. I finally found a gap of time to make this yesterday night and this morning.

This one's about the idiom "Keep body and soul together". It means that if you earn enough to cover your basic expenses, but nothing more than that, you earn enough to keep body and soul together. Although, the point of this contest was to take the meaning a bit more literally.

Hope you like it. Now that I'm back to dA with my free time. It's back to more emotes and animating flash

Made this to celebrate my 200th Deviation

A emote based on the game also known as Arkanoid (which is on itself based on the old Breakout Atari games in the 70's)
I used to play this game a lot back when I was in high school. We had computer lessons twice a week, and at the last 20 minutes of a lesson we could play Arkanoid or Doom (was always hard to pick one of them )

Anyway, it's a bit fast I know, but if I slow it down it will look choppy, and adding more frames to it: I've already used almost 600 frames, so I couldn't bring it up to add more, that would bring it to almost 1200 frames

Don't ya just hate lag?

This is one emote I've always been meaning to make, but haven't done till now because I never really knew how to go about emoting the idea. It's a lot like one of my first emotes, :typo:. I used the same chair and computer cause it's nice to see what I can do now in comparison to when I started making these little emotive buggers.

By now I've made so many angry, spazzy emotes you'd think I myself flip out like this at my comp.

Well no, I don't 8D THAT WOULD COST A LOT! I just love messing as much as I can these days with emotes

Hope you all like it! I hate myself for starting something that's supposed to be short, and it turns out taking nearly a whole week to finish. I'LL NEVER LEARN.

It runs really really smooth at times, so if you're looking at it via an IE browser, it'll likely be a lot more choppy compared to FireFox. Also, there's a part where I tried to get him to shout "COME ON!" incase you can't make it out. Lip-syncing an emote is tough >:/

Also, HOMFG! <- ONE OF MY EMOTES ADDED TO THE OFFICIAL DA LEGEND *jumps for utter fricken joy*!!!!!

So, this random idea sprung into my head recently. I don't really know where from, but it just did, allright?

I know it's kinda lame, since the green guy doesn't power up before he dials or anything, but I'm still gonna call it a power-emote...

The arrows represent where the two emotes are. The green points out the green one, and the yellow points out the yellow one. Simple, eh?

If you can't tell, the yellow one says "Hello?" when he picks up the phone.

And that "CALL" thing above the phone is the same as from the Metal Gear games, I felt it would work nicely here.

I had to work my arse off for this. You may concider much of the post-processing work I did similar to green-screening in movies. That is, I made sure the piece didn't have any transparent pixels anywhere by a process which proved to work well, but was a lot more painfull than necessary.

It's getting really late now, and I just noticed that the Earth shakes a tad extra right before the scene fades out, but I honestly can't be arsed to muck about with it any more right now, maybe later.

Edit: Bah, I arsed myself to fix it right away anyways. I couldn't stand the fact that it was off.

I hope you enjoy this as much as I enjo... er... worked my arse off to make it!
