I've been working on and off on this guy on the weekends for the past month, just here and there in between commissioned works and family chaos. He's fully posable with layered clothing. Stands at 6 inches tall (not including his horn tips).

his eyes are super reflective and domed in order to refract light, so they have a really nice shine to them in real life and catch/reflect light even in dim lighting~

wings are posable and also can be taken on or off . The cape/hood is fully functioning as well and can be taken on or off. His hair is faux fur, skin is microsuede. The wings are very durable but they were a huge pain in the ass to make. all embroidery is done by hand. all sewing except for the hood is hand-sewn. I built him from scratch from my own patterns. UuU

I rreally really love this character haha

Here is the next image I did for the Llewellyn Worldwide 2014 Astrology Calendar.

Pisces: February 20 to March 20. Mutable Water sign. Caring, emotional, supportive, lost in their own thoughts/daydreams. Dominant colors: sea-green and blue, colors of mist and foam. The sign is also associated with deep waters, veils, mazes, secret places, the occult, and dreaming/sleepwalking. I have her pictured here lost in her own thoughts, rising from and merging with the waters and mist. This is one of my favorites out of the set.

OH MY GOODNESS IT'S FINALLY FINISHED.

Inspired by this page of Today Nothing Happened, I finally went and did it. I made a D&D party.... for grammar (with party members based ever-so-slightly on actual friends).

I'm stupidly proud of all the little details in this! And it was way too much fun thinking up everyone's abilities -- got some help from ~actoratheart for a few of them. I'll admit, I've wanted to do an illustration like this for SOME TIME.

I'm sure everyone saw this coming from a mile away. Hell, I saw him before Korra premiered in the preview and I went "Aw, shit, I'm gonna cosplay that." Masks masks masks masks masks

20 HOURS LATER....this. It's a bit too wide and I actually got the top marking really wrong, but well that's what the hood is for, to cover these mistakes.

Mask is made from my usual method, cast of my face in Rigid Wrap (plaster bandages), built and sculpted up with paper clay, sanded to hell and back, and then coated with 10000000 layers of gesso and then also sanded to hell and back.

Colors are acrylic. The mask shade is a combo of a lot of white, some spring green, some golden yellow, some dark tan, and a smidge of brown. I can't really remember the ratio, since it was pretty much mixing until the color looked right. The shade was then mixed with more white to make the base. That thin red line no joke, took me 5 hours to paint. No, I don't have a steady hand.

Hood is from my Phantasm costume, I haven't made the costume yet but I will for New York Comic Con. Hope to see some Equalists there!

Okay, here's the process of one of the WoW TCG cards I did for the Throne of Tides set.
(It's a big file, so be patient and let it load, or try the 'download' link if it's not working)

The final PSD is about 6000 x 4000px, and I ended up with ~10 layers + a couple of adjustments. The whole thing probably took around 9-10 hours or so.
Here's the final image; enjoy!

The Black King, a character from my Checkmate item on Gaia and also in this drawing. I plan on making a White Queen piece on her throne too.

This is one of those pieces that I wanted to be awesome and it ended up not being able to meet the expectations that I set out for it. I was moderately happy with it at first, but I can barely stand it anymore, which is why it took me so long to post. Unfortunately for me, I printed it on like all of my business cards and my convention banner. LOL = __=

Herpaderp. Look it's another D&D character for ~actoratheart's world! BECAUSE APPARENTLY THAT'S NOW ALL I DO.

Drawn pretty quickly just to get it out of my system, but I thought I would share. C:

This is Snaketongue! He is half-elf, half-Lenzian (horned snake-worshipping oriental types of the DM's creation), he's a fire/mind mage and a priest of the Lenzian faith. He's almost never this worked up. In fact, he's actually usually a really mild and quiet guy.
Also his familiar is a pygmy goat, which are really adorable and make it hard for him to look badass, no matter how many magic scars he has.

RELEVANT: I've been posting a few of my and others' D&D scribblings on My Tumblr lately, so if you like random sketches accompanied by my ramblings every now and again, that... may be the place to go! :"D
