100 Themes Challenge Part 1/7

Here it is my first page of the 100 themes challenge, I decided to make it with my comic style. Each picture has its very own description and title. Please read them and enjoy them.

1.) Chores: "Robin helps with chores"

Description:

Robin always wanted to help her giant father, Gian, with some chores, but some chores are way too big for her small size.
And when she heard that he's going to do the dishes, Robin thinks this is her chance to finally help her father with something, so she used her new giant strength to gather all the dishes, stacked them and brought them all to Gian. Gian was very surprised and Robin thinks that she made him very proud of her for helping.....At least that's what she thinks.

When I tried to think of what I should draw for chores, it was so hard to pick since there's like a long list of different kinds and it's so hard to choose. So I asked my twin sister on what is the most common chores that anyone would do in their house and my sister said doing the dishes. I usually hate doing the dishes so I thought that's perfect. And I remembered how funny it is when some people stack some dishes and how they started to sway.

2.) Happy: "Robin's 7th birthday"

Description:

Since Robin has been living with Gian for a year now. Gian surprised his tiny birthday girl with a decorated cup cake with berries around it. Robin was very surprised, excited and of course happy.
After she blew out her birthday candle, she just dove into her cup cake and started taking big bites. After eating just a couple of berries and just a half quarter of the cup cake, she fell asleep on the cupcake all happy and satisfied.
Gian chuckled at all this and when Robin fell asleep, he picks her up gently and says to her while she's sleeping "Others may see that you're small, but to me you're growing big and strong everyday."

3.) Life: "Don't you dare come any closer or else!"

Description:

Hydie and Seymour are very serious nature lovers, they are also extremely protective nature. They would never harm a tree unless they have to or if you simply flick a flower, they will get ferociously angry. They also get easily heart broken when they see nature in a poor state. They would sometimes do something to make it look a bit better.
What they're doing in that picture is that they're protecting a tiny flower bud from anyone that could cause harm to it, they gave out a warning growl to anyone that comes too close.

Hydie and Seymour took their nature-loving trait after me. When I was young, I've always been respectful to nature.
Anything happening to nature can make me feel pretty sad and angry, like simply killing an ant will break my heart or cutting a plant off its roots makes me shout and cry. And that is why I really hate bouquets.
Some people find my behavior pretty weird and some of them tease me about it, like I tried to push a friend from accidentally killing an ant or this one time that one of my high school classmates were to torture an ant right in front of me and they would laugh at me as I cry and beg for them to stop.
I'm still a nature lover today.

4.) Relationship: "A wishful photo of me with my foreign friends"

Description:

I made a scrap-page, it's like a scrapbook except it has only one page. I taped a photo of me with my closest friends on a piece of paper and added some decorations around it. I even added our country flags.
And I wrote on the photo "My Best Friends...My Inspirations." it means that these guys gave me motivation, courage, and they make me smile.

I looked up relationships in the dictionary and it says that it means a connection, association, or involvement or an emotional or other connection between people. So this drawing is a dedication to my best friends and
Chris is a totally sweet, sensitive, and goofy guy who is also like a big brother to me.
Kubra is wild, crazy, and totally awesome. She has totally interesting characters and a story.
They're both so much fun to be around with and I have so much in common with them.
My dream is to hope one day that I'll be able to see them face to face when I visit them in their countries and to have a photo with one of them.
Of course I'm not planning to make a scrapbook since I don't make those things, but instead, I would frame their picture and put their picture in the middle of my living room.

5.) Play: “Playing fetch with Glomp”

Description:

Better watch out for Glomp when it's play time. he's very friendly but he can be like an earthquake with so much slobber. And also watch out when he greets you because he's called Glomp for a reason.

Thought this is my chance to draw a picture with Glomp in it.
Glomp is Gian and Hugene’s dog. He’s a giant dog who is very friendly, enthusiastic and playful; he’s also Robin’s friend and playmate. Glomp loved Robin and they love to play together like fetch.

6.) Toy: "Their new chew toy"

Description:

Shylock: Huh?! What the--!!! Why am I tied up?!

*Boom* *Boom* *Boom* *Boom* *Boom*

Seymour: Well well...What do we have here?....A new toy?

Kenji: And look who just turned human.

Shylock: What?!!! You two idiots cut me off these ropes right now!!! Or else I'll stab you both in the chest!!!

Kenji: Hold on...didn't I remember that YOU wanted to CUT my buddy's throat off? *Cracks his knuckles and his fist burns bright*

Seymour: And don't I recall that YOU almost STAB my sister? *Sharpens his claws till they shine and steam seeps through his teeth*
......You know I heard that revenge is sweet, so I wonder how you would taste.

Kenji: *Chuckles evilly* I would like to see what you and your pitiful little dagger would do.

Seymour and Kenji: *Both made an evil grin showing off their fangs*

Shylock: .......*Gulps nervously*

*Censored*

Shylock: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I remember that Kubra once told me that she decided to make Shylock into a human instead of a giant. And that kinda got me to think of what would happen if Seymour and Kenji would do if they found out.

7.) Videogame: "Videogame Heroes Unite"

Description:

Me and my friends and cosplay as our favorite videogame hero and let me say we totally match our favorite characters.
I cosplay as Sora from Kingdom Hearts. Like Sora, I cared a lot for my close friends.
Kubra cosplays as Link from Legends of Zelda. Like Link, she's just as epic.
And Chris cosplays as Sonic the Hedgehog. Like Sonic, he's cool and determined.

I looked at some picture references of our favorite videogame characters to make sure I got the looks right.
For Chris' cosplay look of Sonic, I like to draw him as the human version of Sonic. I looked through Sonic's references and I turned some of Sonic's features into a style.

8.) Computer: "Don't ever try to press the Esc button"

Description:

This is what happens when they press the Esc button.

I thought it's pretty funny to imagine what would happen if my characters were to get out of the computer all at once.

9.) Famous: "The Terri-Story Newspaper"

Description:

In their world, the Terri-Story is their own version of a newspaper, this special type of newspaper spreads the news to both giant and human territory. And Gian and Robin are in the front page and it's a total shocker to both of their kinds.

For me, the newspaper is a great way for a person to become famous.

10.) Emotion: "The funny expressions of my OCs"

Description:

I've never drew an anime face fault before, I don't know if I'll be good at drawing those kind of things.
In case if some of you don't know, a face fault, from what I read from one of my "How to draw manga" books, is a kind of expression that is usually seen in the comedy scene. Depending on whatever emotion a character does like sad, angry, happy or surprised, the face is drawn in a cartoonish funny way.

11.) Run: "AHH!!! Mr. Fudo!!!"

Description:

Kenji and Seymour: *Both tries to run away* AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Fudo: Where do you wimps think you're going?!!!!! *Grabs Seymour's tail and grabs Kenji's jacket*

Kenji and Seymour: *They're still running but they're not going anywhere because of Fudo's grip*

12.) Fear: "U-u-u-uncle Hu-Hugene"

Description:

It's one of Robin's worst fears, her giant uncle babysitting her. And right now she's hiding from him. Robin knew what kind of playtime Hugene meant, and that's meal time.

13.) Gamble: "Friends Til The End"

Description:

"When she finally reached the edge, it's her chance to put her plan into action. She bounced off the giant's tongue, grabbed hold of his uvula and hanged on tight.
She then shouted to the giant "Like I said!!! I'm not leaving without my friend!!!" She then started squeezing, pulling and even swinging on his uvula in an attempt to activate his gag reflex.

The giant cringed when he felt Christa on his uvula. "H-Hey!....What!?...Are you?!....LET GO!" He tried to shout as loud as he could but he couldn't speak."

14.) Christmas: "To Ate Hydie and Kuya Seymour"

Description:

"Ate" means "Big Sister" while "Kuya" means "Big Brother" in Tagalog, our language from the Philippines.

It's very sweet of Robin to make a Christmas card for her OC siblings, Hydie and Seymour. I guess while I was sleeping or busy with something, my OCs would sometimes spend some time with other OCs. And I would guess that there are some good moments between my OCs.
I treated my OCs like family just as my OCs treated and accepted each other like brothers and sisters.

15.) Animal: "Gian the Lion and Robin the mouse"

Description:

I thought it would be a very cute idea to see what Gian and Robin would be like if they were animals. A lion raising a mouse.
What Gian the Lion is doing is that he's grooming his mouse daughter Robin, and Robin looks like she's enjoying her bath.

My son loves to shoot baskets and I love to cheer him on. His joy shines through when he is playing and so I decided to draw him shooting baskets. This seemed like the perfect drawing for the theme Play in the 100 Themes Challenge.

- 100 Themes Challenge - Variation 5 - Theme 11. Run -

The first steps were to draw random lines until I saw something and this maiden is what I came up with. The second step was to shade and fix the main problem areas to the best of my ability. The background I added is the interior of a castle that she is trying to escape from. Step three was adding color with colored pencils. All of that brings us to the final step, image editing. I used Pixlr [link] to add a couple filters. I like how the addition makes it appear more like she is running down a stone stairwell. Yes, there are a lot of colors in her hair but I was really in the mood for purple eyes, dress, and highlights, haha. Overall, I really like how she turned out.

This is the first set of miniature shoes I made. They were originally clear plastic shoes that I put 3 coats of paint on and decorated. It was so much fun putting all the tiny dice on them. I messed up the red one

Two characters I tend to neglect a lot AND in a picture where they aren't at each other's throats lol. God has been showing me a lot about love lately, changing my entire perspective on it. And all day I had this image in my head.

Ambrose and Dymona have a strange...err...relationship if that is what you call it. They constantly press each others' buttons on purpose, but in the midst they learn a lot from each other. And they inadvertently bring about major growth in the others' life. They both go through some pretty tragic times, and they find out that they really only have each other. Different motives, different beliefs, different ways...but they create a bond not knowing just how strong it would be when they needed it most.

This is from a scene towards the end of Genesis, and i wont spoil it for those who are following the comic version.

And just so you know, this picture can be very misleading

Wahh I'm uploading only once every two weeks or so now! What's happened? I guess school really is starting to engulf me in its tides of work so bear with me my loyal friends!

I actually looked at the 100 Theme Challenge List before starting this piece so here we are! A chibi girl by the name of Candelabra for the theme, candle! Her eyes burn like flames while her dress resembles a lit candle. Pretty neat idea I think

Astrian of the Month for January : PINK!

This was a somewhat quickie...as in halfway through I lost drive to finish so I cut a few corners. Yes, Pink is paraplegic, as there really aren't very many anthros with disabilities and I wanted to have one. This is also a spoiler (or confusion) for those who have read The Genesis Novel and no I'm not gonna tell you why
Even though she is disabled, she still isn't someone you want to get on your bad side. Remember that astrians are energy (color) so they can fly with or without their wings showing..._{and yes i forgot her body markings T_T}

Finally, finally, finally finished this. Sorry it took me so long you guys but you know how life is. I'm very satisfied with how it came out, sure there's still room for improvement but I think I've come pretty far.

Looky who it is again! My OC Ingrid Emeraldine in her forest green dress and red haired glory! I\'ve decided her favorite color is deep green..ahh yes character development, perhaps I\'ll make up a character bio for her next and upload it to DA.

The theme was night and I think I encompassed it well with her gazing up into the starry sky. I did the stars with paint, the pencil crayon would have blended with the blue sky making the stars green! Mixed media for the win! Please enjoy!

The theme was passion and I'm a total liar XD...I have said before that the next Inheritance Cycle Characters I would draw were Roran and Katrina but I freaking love Murtagh and Nasuada so much! They were so cute growing closer together in the last book and seriously it makes my heart race when they have their cute little moments!

They never had a kiss in the book though and I didn't to make this piece with them just playing tonsil hockey with each other, a little teasing for you crazy fans out there that are just like me!

Kind of post-inspired by Mushishi episode "Raindrops and Rainbows", scenes from "the travelling swamp"(Mushishi as well) and fish scenes from Ponyo(haha, strange I know).
Hope you enjoy it.

"Travelling swamp" is about a girl who lives by the swamp. Its green water is magical, and it changes place once in a while, so when the time comes this girl wants to become one with the swamp, she jumps into the water, and slowly becomes transparent, like some kind of jelly, light reflects on her body, she looses her own colours and becomes greenish just like the swamp.

I really like this concept. Slowly becoming one with something bigger. This subject was also present in "Raindrops and Rainbows" episode and Evangelion.

Loneliness... something everyone faces sometime in their life.

I'd have to say this picture is very dear to my heart as I've experienced it about 80% of my adult life. From not fitting in, to not being understood, I grew to just stay to myself. Yet God always had me reaching out to help others, which I do gladly, but still, I adjourn to my home to myself.

Red, also experiences this after her mate for all time no longer cares and the weight of being head of the astrians takes its toll... she sits... alone...with her wings slowly falling apart...

Though I'm praying with God's newest blessing I don't have to feel it again. Nor Red...
