Weirdest cosplay I ever saw? Nope.
Weirdest mixture of themes in design and character. YUP!

It's.....odd shooting this like a menacing figure and then to shoot more like a pin-up model all in one shoot. It's sexy with the skirt and bra, mysterious with the cape and hood, and then scary with the mask. Definitely had a hard time holding my serious face doing this shoot.

Lucky for me, she was in on the joke....or am I in on the joke....Hmm....

"Tell Me Your Wish (Genie)" - Korean MV

Ahh~ I didn't realize my SNSD folder was kinda small, but then I remembered I cleaned up my gallery, so most of my photos are on my ACP [link] !

I found this photo while organizing my cosplay folder, this is very special to me as the guy in the middle is my awesome friend, Shane who is in the Marines. I wasn't sure if I was going to see him before he left for Japan, but he surprised all of us when he showed up during Saturday evening of the con. I seriously wanted to cry. lol Being able to hang out with him, on top of the fact that we won Best in Show earlier that evening is definitely one of my favorite con memories.

Ugh, 2 years later and I still haven't found that damn Genie fabric, or anything remotely close to my liking. I AM REMAKING THIS COSTUME ONE OF THESE DAYS, GDI. Hey, at least I have a new hat, and I still have my decorations and shoes for this... lol

The hardest part was keeping the focus working on them, but in THIS case, I could get away with it. No flash except for the jump shots. Once I got the settings right, it was fairly smooth sailing for this shoot. And this was just Day 0.
