Each background has only 16 colors each. The Kyoshi Island background has an animated fire, and I plan on animating the waterfall for the North Pole.

I've been wanting to make a pumpkin flavored pumpkin cake for about a month, but I was waiting for it to be closer to Halloween.
Since the stores have real pumpkin right now, I bought a pie pumpkin, chopped, boiled and mashed it, and made the spice cake according to the recipe.
I used two glass Pyrex bowls to bake the cake into semi-globes.

Frosting is a basic butter cream, but with some hazelnut Torani syrup for flavoring.
I also added some of the hazelnut to the fondant.
Colored the fondant and used Cocoa powder to dirty up the cake.

In hindsight, I should have dirtied with the cocoa powder before icing the vines.

PS: This cake is also yummy with a bit of sweetened plain yogurt sandwiched in between - it sops in and makes it extra moist. ]]> [link]

I saw the inks on 's account, and thought it was a cool idea. Of course the format of the cover (with Spidey on a clear overlay sheet) meant there wasn't any refraction from the glass. So I added it.

It's a little sad to think of the time I spent on Chameleon (partly cause I didn't know who he was) only to have him all distorted and covered up.

If I do ever wind up doing more of these (I've got pencils halfway done for an Atlantica one) I probably won't color them the same way. Riku's fur was the most annoying part of this tho.
