I'm pooped (and legs cramping from a weird sitting position)
referenced from my laptop's keyboard I'm using right now
PS: sorry there's only those 3 letters,
didn't have enough time to texture the surrounding keys

3dmax and vray.
photoshop for framing and text,
_{(but no post-ps on the actual image, it's all straight render)}

I spot a looot of mistakes in the 3d after a second look
the keys should be flatter for a laptop,
the letters should be more centered,
and I need to learn how to model faster

oh, and I got 2nd place in the 2nd round for the challenge thingy ]]> =DMchat's Themed Art Challenges

there seems to be a bit o' glitch with the number of volume clicks (some require two clicks to up a bar), but nothing visual. might be the program.

The first idea was just making a opposite version of my rocker-ego [link]

made entirely in illustrator rather than photoshop
mostly colors I never, repeat, never used _{(dammit I don't like pink)}
but I still like the hat idea.

but went crazy with the design,
so it's a gamer girl with a scarf of retro game-homages and bunnies,
blowing a bubble gum stuck with a dragonball chupa-chups,
and listening to an mp3 although it's connected to a gamepad,
and a lock earing with "RIAA" written on it _{(can't resist )}

jpeg compression kinda ruined the soft gradients so PNG lossless to the rescue!
but the drawback is: 18jpegs=4mb+, 18pngs=22mb+
so I divided it into 2 subs, one for 4:3 and the other for widescreen
I assume if you have widescreen, you won't use 4:3 walls and vice versa,
and it'll be so much less pain for the dial-up users to download
