This was just a pen drawing I had randomly hangin out in my notebook, and I've really wanted to have it uploaded for a long time, but it had text behind it and weird pen colors and stuff so I had to fix it up and color it. But anyways, since it's all done in pen, it's a little... wonky in places.

He's based on an ancient Egyptian god of pain and suffering in the underworld, who was so feared that he was never really referred to by name, since Ba-Pef only means an ambiguous "That soul".
He's impossible to find information on because he's barely known and wasn't around in their mythology for long, but that works perfectly for me and my story cuz I can take a bunch of liberties with the character.
In my series, ancient gods and deities and whatnot were actually beings from other planets with intense psychic and psychological mind powers which they used to control people on Earth. I had that idea before Ancient Aliens ever aired. The bums.

The crew from my original series/creation "Interplanetary ART", about a group of former Earth "gods" and mythological beings who travel the galaxy returning lost aliens to their homes and keeping intergalactic travelers from interfering with foreign planets.

From the left we have:
-Dodo the... dodo bird. It's a dumb name for a dumb bird.
-Urcuchillay or "Uchi": Peruvian spirit of animals; she takes care of the creatures on the ship
-Ba-Pef: Egyptian god of pain and woe, he's usually carefree but has a vendetta against the other Egyptian gods who knocked him from power
-Leo: a bat-like alien whose planet was overtaken by power-hungry invaders
-Dee: a Whelsh girl who finds Leo and gets mixed up with the IART crew after refusing to let Leo go
-Marowit or "Marv": leader of the IART, he left his position as a Wendish god of nightmares after seeing the corruption of the gods around him, and now seeks to return the power to the native people
-Hedda: a Norse dark-elf with a knack for knowing how things work; she's the ship's mechanic
-Wayland: a Norse light-elf and Hedda's twin, Wayland was named after the Norse god of weaponry because of his skill with any type of weapon; he serves as the ships weapon specialist, though he'd much rather play with the weapons than hurt anyone.
-Baku: an alien creature who once resided in Japan (where he got his name), who eats the dreams and nightmares of humans; he works with Marv to affect the dreams of others.

But I was quite proud of myself anyways, so I recreated the scene in illustrated form. This piece from my sketchbook was just to work out what her 'Alien uniform' would look like. Not pictured here, but shown in my short, is the uniform's helmet, which is fashioned after the stereotypical 'alien head' - you know, oval, with a pointy chin and big eyes. The idea behind this is that these 'aliens' that people see (usually the Greys) are just these IART personel trying to do their job. ]]>

I purposely tried to give the characters more of a "flat" look through the coloring in order to make them seem even more like "old-school cartoons". Which I love. The background I wasn't really concerned about, as you can probably tell.
