Life was one of the first big projects assigned to me at AOL. This website was to be a timeline web application to chart our your entire... Life.

The project as a whole was scrapped but the general idea of the timeline lived on as the Bebo Lifestory, or, as it is currently known today, the "timeline."

I'm resubmitting this as a new deviation because without the text in the middle, it really is a whole new composition and says a lot more. It has a much more relevant and powerful message, I think, as well.

This was originally a class Photoshop assignment back in my community college days. We were to make three compositions with a "Global Warming" theme. The original had text smack-dab in the middle that didn't make much sense but was required for the assignment. I took it out, which did wonders for the message in the poster.

Gametrailers 7 Design Proposal

I have never seen a website redesign as bad as Gametrailer.com's v6. They thought that with curvy shapes and two-toned gradients that they would magically become "web 2.0" and be accepted among the design community. There really was no reason for a redesign in the first place as the last would have lasted a lot longer. Sellouts, anyone?

Anyway, this is my "if it were up to me" redesign, joining my Myspace [link] and Demonoid [link] layouts. I took what v5 used to be and spruced it up a tad. I told myself I wouldn't go over on gradients, but most of them are so slight that I don't think it matters.

Going straight into the portfolio.

Yes, another OLD design I never uploaded. This was an icon design for AWE. I think they were going into beta and wanted to keep the car logo a secret so they hired me to draw a cover over it and I think it came out well.

Can't tell you what this was for or how it came to be, but I do know that the layout was scrapped and won't be brought back. This was made back in March and has been sitting in a pile of dusty dust since.

I really am sorry, but my work has been getting stolen so much, I am forced to reduce the size and watermark it. I can't take these chances anymore.

This is an assignment from my Graphic Design class. We were to take the original fightglobalwarming.com ads (which was just those two check boxes with the text on a yellow background) and come up with creative ways of showing global warming. This is one of them I came up with.

I wish it made more sense. I suppose it's like: The guy is laying around doing nothing and just taking a smoke break (which is also a cause of global warming, albeit a lesser cause) while pollution is being dumped into the atmosphere with the smoke stacks and factories in the background. I take that back, it makes little to no sense. HAHA.

EDIT:

Ok, I've come up with a concept that makes a little more sense with the poster. We are all our own little industrial factories and it's time to stop sticking our heads in the sand and do something.
