But yehhh, I had actually hoped to illustrate the meeting scene originally but turns out I read that part wrong and so this is an illustration of my impression while reading the scene. ffff. *reading fail*

I finished several drawing a while ago but I've been so out of DA nowadays. =A= (too much trouble)
Just saying this is probably going to be a regular thing, me ducking in then disappearing again...though since I've got 2 other drawings I can say I'll be back 2 consecutive days to upload those. Durpdurp.

[ART COMMENT]
I finally got to watch Moulin Rogue at the beginning of September (oh wow, took me a while to get this done...) and I just loved the Roxanne Tango so much. I remember having a burning desire to draw Sherlock and John doing a Tango at the time. So there we are.

Oh, and bonus animated Gif of the progress. As you can see I speedpaint rather messily. =w=

[SPEAKING OF TANGO]
My friend told me about another Tango Song which I ended up listening to over and over again along with El Tango De Roxanne while drawing this. It's "Two Men" from Cirque du Soleil's Zumanity show. _{(For those who don't know, Zumanity is Cirque's Adult show. And this dance is actually really intense. Though with that said, I just need to draw attention to how utterly fantastic the art of it all is. ;w; )}

You know what's special about this drawing in particular? It was when I actually decided to reference Benedict and Martin's faces HEAVILY instead of just making shit up. But yeah that was actually like 2 months or so back because i always draw at the stupidest times aka 4 in the morning on a school day, at least I'm pretty sure this was one of those...point is I just never end up finishing anything and then it gets left till 2 months later where I finally finish it. *LE-SIGH*

Due to various reasons, it ended up that last year instead of doing my regular I wanted to do my Xmas thing for amazing folks I met in the Sherlock fandom with fully colored illustrations instead of sketches. I'm...still really behind schedule but the project is getting done. There have been many more people I've met whom I wish to draw stuff for, but seeing as I'm struggling to finish 9 I'm going to leave it at that. =u=;; I'm sure you guys know who you are.

I don't want to post them here because they were started around December 2010 and finished in early 2011 (Feburary and March to be specific) and to me, they look rather icky. So I'm finally posting this on DA here, It's kinda been a while since I've finished this so I'm not entirely sure what to write in the description that you can't read in my LJ link at the top (the Work Process). OwO

[PRIOR TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES]
There were some moniter problems I was worried about before, but in the end seems like I can't help it, so here's the version that I've painted. If you're using a NON Laptop moniter, you'll see something that's A LOT more saturated then intended. But people seemed to like that reguardless. :0 I'll just update this later when I can get the printed version to look the same as what's on my screen?

There is A LOT of it here. Well, it was kind of a point. xDD

Well anyhow, I've worked hard on this and had more then one sleepless night to get it down for my Illustration deadline. I just hope you all enjoy it~ XD

[DESCRIPTION]
I was going to post the other one of my school illustrations but then I thought I should just get all my Sherlock posting up to date here on DA. So yeah! We're all caught up to my LJ account~! owo Yep, that's where I've ran off to before deciding to move back to DA. I think at the moment I'm still more used to posting any and new art on LJ instead of here? At least that's the case with all my Sherlock arts (though there hasn't been a post yet because I haven't had the chance to A) finish anything B) get the files in order for posting). But since we've caught up I think what might happen is that I'll try to submit in both places simultaneously? *shrugs* We'll see how it goes eventually.

Annnyyyhooww, this was a birthday gift to unicorn_Empire from LJ. A very very amazing artist. ;w;

And then my lineart and coloring has been heavily influenced by though I mainly stalk her on LJ. >w>

And then, you can probably tell that the original title is "John in a Box" like it says up there, I did try changing it to Watsongram but it really didn't look as nice graphically. <:/

But yeah, I do plan to do more Watsongrams with ALL THE DIFFERENT WATSONS. Ideally, they'd be at a higher DPI so I can make prints or cards and sell them one day. ;w; ...one far-far away day....OTL.

Anyhow, FYI, these weren't done in the order you see so the quality is all over the place. Just know that I started on the 6th one (bottom right cube) and that's why it sucks the most even though I do really like the color palette, but that's hardly my work is it? Anndd with the 2nd cube, YES I KNOW THERE'S NO RED THERE BUT TOO BAD IT LOOKED/WAS CONCEPTUALLY BETTER THAT WAY. D<

Ever since my cousin got me hooked on BBC's miniseries "Sherlock" over summer I have been SO SERIOUSLY OBSESSED (and still going STRONG).
