so i scrapped the rendered version and recoloured it with a more comicbooky/cel shading style i just really liked my lineart haha and i think this style better suits the image both in general and as far as the character's personality is concerned.

i was looking through my favourites and got inspired to draw some cities again since i haven't done any in a really long time !

so here they are. some kind of magic town, a semi-futuristic european city, and a dark dingy metropolis

i drew them with a pilot fineliner in my little (8x6.5in? i'm not quite sure) sketchbook and added colour in photoshop

update: since people have so helpfully pointed out that i misspelled the title as "lonk to the post" i fixed it

i should explain, this was my illustration class homework -- take a retro game, and design new box art for it as though it were being released today. so i've got a link with a more complicated costume like he tends to have nowadays in a setting inspired by the japan-release box art for lttp ♥

technically it's the logond of zolda: lonk to the post to avoid legal issues
