I put some more little details in this one than the last, I think. I also managed an outfit on this one. I couldn't pull it off with the photographer because it was already getting too cluttered. It was a bit of a challenge to start with the head shape, even though I knew what I wanted it to look like before I started because of the landscape orientation. It was just hard to fit, so I adapted and made its body oriented horizontally a bit too. Hopefully this make him a bit more dynamic!

I was trying to come up with something original, based on my experience of the first game, that could be like one of the small boss ghosts. Went through a few ideas quickly and came back to the "artist" a few times. That was already done in the game, but I thought... "Maybe a different art medium? A photographer with an old flash camera would be a pretty cool design." Makes me want to fight him! I imagine that his flash would stun other ghosts and maybe even Luigi if he is looking into it! Or he could be trapped in the photo like in Mario Strikers: Charged? Hopefully this isn't in the 3DS game or I'll look pretty unoriginal.

I made the connection later, but modern ghosts have their origins in the development of photography. Look into it! It's very interesting. (And all phooey.) Maybe I was subconsciously thinking about the GB Horror camera too!

I took this photo two or three years later, after someone found it on the ceiling by the music room. It was hard to get it all in, so it was shot at a weird angle that squashes her. I hear that the old ceiling tiles have been destroyed or thrown out.

I think I was going to make her helmet in the style of Echoes, which hadn't yet released, but I'd forgotten to finish that or something. I remember having a lot of trouble keeping the oranges consistent and that robbed me of spending time on doing highlights and touch-ups. ]]>

My new performance piece, titled “Societal Species on Conceptual Chairs”, will involve many people sitting back-to-back near the Walt Whitman statue by the Rutgers Camden Campus Center while doing anything that they would normally do while sitting (eating, conversing, playing DS games, surfing the web on a laptop, attempting to play catch, etc.). It will act as a general celebration of the sum compassion and cooperation of our society that will allow the audience to join in, if they like.

The piece will last for approximately twenty minutes and will be recorded on camera. The performance will occur on Thursday, December 8th at about 12:10. (Some other weird performances may also be in the same area and time.)

Absolutely anyone can show up, and join in for as long as you like. Please invite others if you can. (You may need a partner.) I'm going to keep a sheet for all of the participants to sign so we can get a count of how many people joined in and to collect e-mails for anyone that wants pictures/videos sent to them.

"My performance piece, titled "We Live in a Country Where We Have the Right to Sit Upside-down, So It Is About Time That We Start Acting Like It" will involve many people sitting upside-down on the benches around the Walt Whitman statue by the Rutgers Camden Campus Center while doing anything that they would normally do while sitting (eating, conversing, playing DS games, surfing the web on a laptop, attempting to drink, etc.). It will act as a general celebration of unified diversity that will allow the audience to join in, if they like.

The piece will last for approximately twenty minutes and will be recorded on camera. The performance will occur on Wednesday, November 26th at about 12:35. (Some other weird performances will also be in the same area and time.)

Absolutely anyone can show up, and join in for as long as you like. Please invite others if you can. I'm going to keep a sheet for all of the participants to sign so we can get a count of how many people joined in and to collect e-mails for anyone that wants pictures/videos sent to them.

Also, dress warmly if it seems like it might be cold out that day. Ladies, you probably don't want to wear skirts.
