The character of Lex luthor is the quintessential white collar criminal. So of course when depicting him in a more medieval setting, i saw him as an Aristocrat, a position where his devious whit and sharp tongue would feel quite at home.

I wanted the placement of the main characters bed and sleeping are to express his character which is like a small mammal like creature, easy to scare and still very cautious and child like. So i placed him up on top near the window where it is cozy and comfortable where he will have this sense of security. ]]>

Transformation from human form to swan form. The initial idea for the transformation was what people would normally think of for a swan transformation, which is a smooth graceful transition from human to creature form with some magic dust. However, i wanted to make the swan form feel more like a curse and a burden and something that pains her. With this in mind i wanted to make each stage of the transformation feel like she is slowly being forced into this caged form and out of this suppression, this form of a swan coms out. Basically i didn't want it all pretty. ]]>

he asked for a remake of an old piece i did of Avatar. this piece features 2 of the 5 characters. changed the design a bit but the overall look and character of the characters remained the same. Toph is still flippin the world off. and Zuko is still in a somewhat reserved state.

The idea was that a village/city was built and carved out of this gigantic white rock and the only way to get there is to traverse from rock to rock till you reach the city. A more high key painting that the last ones. i was pretty pleased with the way the colors came out.

another environment concept for my Baba Yaga project. The idea was to have a land where giants creatures roamed. I imagined a wide open plain with lots of space but then these immense creatures were hidden by this thick mist. Im pretty happy with the way this one turned out.
