I decided to use this manga style because I suck drawing chibies in my original style.
I made him a police man because... well, if you look ar that page, that makes pretty much sense, doesn't it?
He is friends with TV Tropes-tan and he has a crush on æ-tan, a.k.a Encyclopedia Dramatica.

A back ago, me and my sis/bro :lo-ann: had this weird skype conversation where her Webcam and Wifi made it nearly impossible to see her and her surrounding.

Made it even worse, since her asian eyes where like invisible unless she went extremely close towards her screen.

But during the moment in which she moved her Laptop to the side, i saw 2 black figures behind her.

It could have been a coathanger or a pile of laundry, but i told her to stop, and allow me to doodle those 2 images on paper.

I have wanted to draw this picture out of Raiden and Sunny all the way since 2009. I dont know why it took so long..!

It was difficult to mimic icons colour themes and visual style and still keep the characters as Sunny and Raiden. Good thing to live in a country where the Creek Catholic is the second biggest religion (If Im not wrong) and you keep seeing the icons every now and then (I have a few Michael and St. George icon cards). The first painting version was nothing I wanted so I had to paint this again. How do I gold?! D:<

Kept listening Elven Lieds Latin opening while painting (one of my fave songs ever!). I have to admit combining it with this was a new experience!

Mario vs. Isaac

Did this while I wait for the dust to settle on my poll (go vote if you haven't already!).

Much to say about this one.

First of all, if you haven't heard of The Binding of Isaac, go on Steam and download it for the "we're giving it away for free" price of 5 bucks (less if you get it during a Steam sale). You'll get countless hours of fun from the randomly generated dungeons where you unlock more items and enemies the more you play it. . Every playthrough is completely different and there are no lives or checkpoints in this game so you die once (unless you find that one item...) and it's back to the beginning of the game.

Bottom line, I've been having loads of fun with this game and, much like it was when I did Mario vs. Meat Boy way back when, I was just compelled to draw this.

I thought about how best to handle this but it had to be with the image that is most representative of the game which is Isaac curled up in the fetal position. It's also a little different from my previous Mario fights in that it's not an all out brawl but rather a "WTF" moment where Mario doesn't even know what to make of it. And yes, those are all in-game items on Isaac's head, even the scratches and the flies. The dead bird is actually a pretty good one.

I also started adding Yoshi, Peach and Luigi behind Mario all of which were appalled just like he is. I did the finished line art and even flats but I dropped the idea eventually. It was becoming less and less about Isaac and more about the Mushroom Kingdom. Also, no matter how I tried, I wasn't getting the feeling I wanted from the digital line art which makes me glad to have waited for a scanner all this time instead of going fully digital. I really like how the line art on these comes out when I work them on paper.

Now the only question is what name to use when I get to Dead Space's Isaac...

In case you hadn't heard, a little while back North Korea's new leader, Kim Jong-Un, tried to impress the world by launching a rocket. Their rocket didn't quite rise as well as expected. Anyone who knows anything about anything will know that it was the perfect time to make a penis joke.... So I did, in print.

Stylistically I made the lines in this a little cleaner than usual, to evoke traditional Asian art. I also realised when working on it, that this is the first time I've actually done a caricature professionally.

The connection between HMs and acquired badges is also another thing which got removed in Black/White, which is probably for the best as it never really made perfect sense why they could be taught but not immediately used. On the other hand, this strip is now obsolete. Oh well!
