Photoshoot in Fukuoka, Japan, last December.
It was so much fun!

Japanese photographer called Zweit picked me up early Saturday morning and we drove to this one baseball court bit far away, up in the hills. We shoot there for 2 hours, then ate lunch and continued with shootings in a local park and sea shore!

After 8 hours we went to a Yakiniku restaurant (grilled meat). In Japan you get your own GRILL installed in the table, and you can cook your own meat on it *_* <3 It's the best stuff ever! So tasty! A bit expensive though, good stuff will cost you 30-50 euros at least.

Whole day was exhausting, but we got some nice photos!

Currently watching this anime called BTOOM! btw. It's super exciting! *_*

Photoshoot in Fukuoka, Japan, last December.
It was so much fun!

I was around 78kg when I came back from Japan, the same as in these Kagami Taiga photos! Now I'm 85kg! Eating around 200grams of protein daily :3 Got bigger so quickly! Still have almost 3 weeks left to train.

Just wait for my Ragnarok Shura cosplay next month in Madrid, Spain ;D

Finally we managed to make a photo shooting with our Fate costumes. Unfortunatly, we had not much time during Japan Expo to take any photos together, so we needed to make a shooting on the next convention in Finland.
We are glad, that we could take some nice shot during our next convention, AnimeCon in Kuopio. Also if we had not much time (coz a crazy rainstorm disturbed us v.v) we got a few nice shots, thanks to our nice and skilled photographer ~H-Maija-K.
The location is not the best one, but we tried to make the best out of what we got there xD.

This costume was made because my good friend Jacky Dosai from Japan asked me to cosplay wit him. It took us one year to confirm everything and schedule a photoshoot. Now we finally had a photoshoot in Japan Expo 2012, Paris, France!
Jacky was cosplaying as Kotetsu and I was Barnaby.

We had a BIG photoshoot in several different locations with COSMODE (Japanese cosplay magazine). We had a photograher and a director guiding us. It was totally awesome! And took the whole Sunday!

The photos of the magazine will be published on October. So I'm sorry, but you have to wait until that to see all of the awesome photos we took!~

I'll of course upload all the photos in here at October!

Whole costume is made by me.
I made the jacket out of fake leather.

Barnaby is actually kinda tall, way over 180cm.
Approx the same height as I am!

I feel bit fat, somehow Barnaby seems to be way skinnier than I am, though I'm something around 188cm and 78kg. Lol!

Costume is made by me in 6 days.

And yeah, I'm normally very white. I have a white skin and white/orange beard, white hair and eyebrows. I painted 'em all black with a permanent color. And it's a black wig I cut and styled (punky from cosworx). And I get tanned easily, I have a solarium at home too and I'v been bathing in the sun for a few weeks.

Props are made of Wonderflex, my very first trying that material, and these armors are the very first prototypes and try outs of it xD They are all painted black for a base color and then drybrushed with different miniature paints to make out that cool silverish effect. Tattoo is water based make up by Grimas. Scars are brown and light brown miniature paint in two layers. And yes, I do wear red contact lenses.

So, I hope you like it! I'v gained like 21 kilos (61kg to 82kg) in a few years by hitting a gym, put I lost a few kilos while making this cosplay. Sorry about that.

I wanted to make this kinda rare Gilgamesh costume with hair on front and half armor. I really love making tattoos.

Well, I started this cosplay one week before Desucon Frostbite.
I had school, but I skipped a few classes to finish my cosplay properly. I finished it exactly in 7 days.

And wtf, this time I did not even drink beer while doing this!
Okay, I drank few beers at weekend, but no more than that!

The armors and the prop are made of Wonderflex.
I used almost 2 jumbo sheets (100cmx140cm) of it.

First I made the patterns to a copypaper. Then I draw them on the wonderflex sheets, warmed 'em with a hot air blower and shaped them with my bare hands. I did not use any molds. Most of the armors are attached by velcro.

After shaping I painted everything with black matte spray.

Then I used Citadel miniature paints and a small brush and two different kinds of golden paints (burnished gold and shining gold). I used a method called drybrushing to get that worn out effect. All the blue ornaments are also painted with a brush.

At convention morning I painted all red tattoos on me with a brush also. Took me 2-3 hours.

I won a third price in Desucon Hall Cosplay Contest with this cosplay.

Earrings are also made of wonderflex.

I really like character designs in the Fate Series.

I wanted to make this kinda rare Gilgamesh costume with hair on front and half armor. I really love making tattoos.

Well, I started this cosplay one week before Desucon Frostbite.
I had school, but I skipped a few classes to finish my cosplay properly. I finished it exactly in 7 days.

And wtf, this time I did not even drink beer while doing this!
Okay, I drank few beers at weekend, but no more than that!

The armors and the prop are made of Wonderflex.
I used almost 2 jumbo sheets (100cmx140cm) of it.

First I made the patterns to a copypaper. Then I draw them on the wonderflex sheets, warmed 'em with a hot air blower and shaped them with my bare hands. I did not use any molds. Most of the armors are attached by velcro.

After shaping I painted everything with black matte spray.

Then I used Citadel miniature paints and a small brush and two different kinds of golden paints (burnished gold and shining gold). I used a method called drybrushing to get that worn out effect. All the blue ornaments are also painted with a brush.

At convention morning I painted all red tattoos on me with a brush also. Took me 2-3 hours.

I won a third price in Desucon Hall Cosplay Contest with this cosplay.

Earrings are also made of wonderflex.

And yeah, I'm normally very white. I have a white skin and white/orange beard, white hair and eyebrows. I painted 'em all black with a permanent color. And it's a black wig I cut and styled (punky from cosworx). And I get tanned easily, I have a solarium at home too and I'v been bathing in the sun for a few weeks.

Props are made of Wonderflex, my very first trying that material, and these armors are the very first prototypes and try outs of it xD They are all painted black for a base color and then drybrushed with different miniature paints to make out that cool silverish effect. Tattoo is water based make up by Grimas. Scars are brown and light brown miniature paint in two layers. And yes, I do wear red contact lenses.

So, I hope you like it! I'v gained like 21 kilos (61kg to 82kg) in a few yeas by hitting a gym, put I lost a few kilos while making this cosplay. Sorry about that. I'm sure I'll be in a good shape at the WCS 2011 (World Cosplay Summit). This will be my parade costume in Nagoya this year. I'd love to be at least 85 kilos.

And yeah, I'm normally very white. I have a white skin and white/orange beard, white hair and eyebrows. I painted 'em all black with a permanent color. And it's a black wig I cut and styled (punky from cosworx). And I get tanned easily, I have a solarium at home too and I'v been bathing in the sun for a few weeks.

Props are made of Wonderflex, my very first trying that material, and these armors are the very first prototypes and try outs of it xD They are all painted black for a base color and then drybrushed with different miniature paints to make out that cool silverish effect. Tattoo is water based make up by Grimas. Scars are brown and light brown miniature paint in two layers. And yes, I do wear red contact lenses.
