Orange/Cammie - Pirate Concept

Me and ~Viwiette wanted to design our twin characters Cammie and Anne in steampunk outfits. I wanted to give Cam a theme because it would be easier and give me a better idea of what she would wear. After a while I thought: "OMG she would sooo be a pirate 8D"
Also wanted her arms to look kind of muscular, hope I succeeded. -w-

So here is the result. Hopefully I will have time to make her into a 3D character (that is the main idea of the concept after all).

Beauty Shot - FPS enemy Ken

I forgot to submit this. It's a beauty shot of an enemy character I made for our FPS (First Person Shooter) in uni, he's quite inspired of Vaas from Far Cry 3.
I wanted to challenge myself with a more realistic male character, so I did. It's been a great experience for me. I also made him quite skinny because he was supposed to be a melee character with a machete at first (but we scraped that idea), but I wanted to keep the body thin because almost every guy in a game are so manly and muscular. XD

I FINALLY got to play this game last night that I have been waiting for so long. I'm speaking of Journey of course!
I was expecting it to be good but not cry-my-eyes-out good. DAYUM that game, so incredibly touching, my face was completely red from crying so much after! And that DOES NOT happen often! XD

And of course I had to draw fanart of such an amazing game. I browsed around DA and looked at journey fanart but most of it was of the main desert part so I wanted to make something else. The part inside the building had lots of impact on me because you felt so small, so I wanted to recreate that in my drawing.

Ponysona Peachy-Geek

Soooo...I gave my ponysona a total makeover (old one [link] ). XD It looks even less like me now but I think it resembles me much more than before, the colours and such.
I named her Peachy-Geek, the name is not final but I though it was cute, and peaches looks like butts~ :] (If you have ideas for a better name feel free to tell me).
I also changed her cutie mark, even though I liked the other more (a nes controller) but I wanted something more simple and "pony-fitting", so 3 pixel hearts it is! (which might not be final either...)
It looks like she's thinking...probably about how to play the 3DS with hooves. >w>

Recently been trying to make my style more cartoony and go away from the generic anime style. I'll still need to work a lot with the style so it's far from done.

Anyway, been trying to make a ref for Air (during lunch breaks at uni), I'd like to finish it completely but we'll see. I'll upload this for now to show that I'm nor entirely dead. xD

Yesturday was my first try with the program and I made an old african man XD [link] he looks funny....

Today was my second attempt to deal with this program and I think it turned out quite well. X) The task was to model a skull of choice.

Heh, it looks like Cam (the left one) is thinking "*sigh* Show off" as Air plays with her magical powers. xD

This is the first time in weeks that I've had time to draw, and I forgot how amazing it feels to just draw stuff you want to instead to what you are "forced" to draw.

Had this picture lying around on my desktop and decided to finish it. I believe drawing skies have become my trademark. ;X

Now I must say FINALLY a picture with both Air-A and Cammie in. Since they are my main characters I should draw them together more often I think. xD

Random title which I put no thought into XD....or maybe I did?!

Anyway, this pic was really fun to draw, even though all the light effects were bitchy. XD But yeah, as you may have realised I like playing around with lights and such~ wiee shiny stuff and experimenting! Lights from behind can be tricky to draw but aww the end result is omnomnom!!

Wow this pic took ageeeees! XD
This pic started off as a profle sketch, got inspired to draw one after looking though *ghostarins sketches. Then I drew a body and a random BG. XD
The BG was really fun except the church-ish window, it was nasty (doesn't even look like a window). D:
The main point of the window thing is that you're supposed to see a wing but only as a reflection, it's not actually there....or is it? :3

Lame title is lame XD Chihiro means "Thousands of hugs" or something along those lines.
I can't believe this is the first Ghibli fan art I've ever finished o,o I'm a huge Ghibli fan after all XD Got ALL the movies that's been released in Sweden and UK so far~ ^{Can't wait for the borrowers movie <3}

I realised a few days ago that I need to practise couple drawings, sketched a few and this one turned out all right so I finished it |D

It's Kohaku and Chihiro from spirited away of course |D they were fun to draw, but I failed to draw them as 10 and 12 XD (I think Haku's 12)

Human Nature - Michael Jackson [link] <3

This picture started off as a guitar practise, suddenly felt like drawing one because they're well known to be hard to draw. I think the instrument itself turned out all right but it's a bit too big. ;/

I had really fun drawing this picture but it took a long while, had to remake it a few times. When I felt like it was going right I couldn't help but to go crazy with the colours and try something new that I can use for my portfolio! Got inspiration from Michael Jackson as well. xD

Well ya my OC Cammie /Orange in this picture, she doesn't deserve to have eyes this time. It was fun to draw her as a rock star. |D

Okay so I drew I sonic picture again.....o3o I'm still a bit in a light shock despite working with it for a few days. But I just felt inspired by the new teasertrailer and wanted to draw my childhood hero once more. Also classic sonic look so cuuuuute~ so short and fat! X'''D

Maybe Sega is doing something right for once, visiting old levels and such (as we think it's gonna be about) ....but I thought the same about Sonic06 and we all know how terrible it was |D

Okay so I want to try to apply for 3rd opening xD Thanks for the help with the poll btw. Sorry for not making her grean but as ~bulletproofturtleman said "The dark brown is more neutral or rough" and she's a thief after all. :3

...It's so fun to draw fantasy themed clothes :'D

So here is some info about the character:

Name: Tova Autumn "Aki" (She can't use her actual name because oh her "job". Aki means autumn for those who don't know.)

Age: 20

Gender: Female

Species: Kitsune (the other ear is hidden under her hat)

Job: Unemployed - Thief

Talents:
Athletic - She's very fast and limber.
Lock picking - Is what it sounds like, she's good at opening many kinds of locks.
Sing - She sings well, sometimes on streets for money.

Accessories:
Earring
Bag 2x. One of them contains picklocks, a pair of scissors, keys, some money and stolen goods. The other one some food, waterbottle, notebook and a first aid kit.
Silver Knife, mainly for defence.
A big bow to tie her hair with.

Personality:
She's veeeery flirty and enjoys running after men. (lool xD) In general Aki is quite nice and fun to be with. Outgoing and Social, pretty confident and independent. But when things go wrong or not as planned she can change and be pretty grumpy for a while, she's also somewhat stubborn. She's weak for nice words/compliments, kids and sweets. Always tries to be honest and dislike people who lie.

History: Aki was born in a casual family in Garnet city, but has been living in abandoned houses and on the street pretty much her entire life. To put it simple she was an unwanted child and her parents never cared about her much and eventually died in an accident. Because of her young age she couldn't work or afford living alone. She never went to school because of this but learnt how to write, read, count etc. by herself (pretty bright). She had to steal food to not starve and then realised she had a "talent" for it. Always having to run and hide made her very athletic and quite acrobatic. This big change in life forced her to mature alot earlier than normal kids.

Aki found different ways of making money, during the day singing at the streets and the night stealing jewellery from the rich to----sell for an incredible high price so only other rich people could afford it and then steal it again --- and there we have a circle. XD But in the beginning she was both scared and depressed, almost lost will of being alive. She mostly made living from begging people in the city for some coins or walk to a bakery and ask for yesterdays bread.

Sometimes she robs museums and other great places with valuable things, but never temples or churches of any kind, she has great respect for what's holy.

She can also steal things for people who pay her well with either money, food or some place to live. The things she can be hired to steal could be pretty much anything, from soaps -weapons - to diamonds.

One thing she really enjoys is travelling to other towns, countries and meet new people. So basically she's a travelling thief. It also gives good opportunities for her to sell stolen goods from other countries and it's a smaller risk to get caught that way as well. She knows who to stay away from if someone treated her bad or found out that she's a thief (from robbing their house, some kind of guard or something similar) because she never forgets a face.

Aki has always preferred being up late at night and sleep til mid day due to her "job" and also has easier get along with other people who do as well.

We decided to join destructive forces LOL XD
so the match ups are:
They're both attackers (destructive).
They match in colour.
Elements since water conducts electricity.
Water and Land based (salt and pepper?!).

(The gym leaders match with cat-dog and male-female)

I had fun drawing this pic but it didn't turn out the way I wanted xD; but meh at least I finished it in time and hopefully it's a pass @@

What I do know is that it took aaaaaages to finish, mostly because I was struggling with...everything ;X the sketch-lineart-fire-background everything except the colouring~ XD
At least I'm quite pleased with the final result, and I'm glad I managed to draw a picture with (somewhat) interesting poses.

I realised when I coloured it that I made them look like thieves, so I took that concept and made it 10 times worse/better depends how you see it |D

Some of you might recognize this character by now (Air-A). XD I tried soft shading rather than cell for once but it turned out yo be a messy soft-cell @@; need practise....

Okay so the reason why she is there is because she was heading to the North pole but got lost on the way (she always gets lost...even in her own house). That is also the reason she's got winter clothes with her....don't ask why she brought a bikini to the North pole though XD;;;;;;

She often hangs around with Anne (her older twin) but she lost her on the way to the NP |D

Walter Melon/Charizard: Is like a big playful dog XD I bet they play fetch all the time |D

Gandalf/Garchomp: Doesn't like to get his "hands" dirty. Very snooty and posh acting...therefore the outfit! XD I wonder how he can hold the tea cup with that huge claw =X

Sugar/Gyarados: Is the most blood thirsty monster ever...even tries to eat his trainer XD; Also with a very unfitting name.

Percywald/Maggyo: The most retarded pokemon ever imo. so he fits perfectly with Cam! XD Also this one looks very perverted...and he also knows attract just to make it worse, I feel sorry for those who fall in love with it.

Dante/Chillarmy: oooooookay~ now it's getting really silly! He is actually named after one of *Viwiettes characters. When she used to draw anthro/sonic styled chars Dante was a chinchilla. Same goes for the next one TJ, he was a skunk! XD Anyway drew the chillarmy pink (shiny) to make it extra manly. Looks like he's thinking "I'm the cutest thing you've ever seen"

TJ/Skuntank: Yeah also based of another character. This pokemon doesn't usually wear glasses, it's just because the chinchilla is shiny and bright (radioactive?) he's got to wear sunglasses or else he would go blind.

lol this is for that new #Battle-Frontier I wanted to join just for fun but that it would be boring if I joined with Michi/Plum so I chose Cammie/Orange instead (mainly to give her stupid pokemon) XD (lol all fruits)
Anyway Charizard did fit...a bit too well, both orange and firey xD; This is supposed to be the pic of the trainer, but it turned out better than I thought so I wanted to submit it, the full sheet should be done by tomorrow I think...NVM good night!

After making the Lugia picture people started asking for a Ho-oh counterpart. SO I thought "why not" xD

But Ho-oh sure was ALOT harder to draw due to the amount of details and colours. I also wanted to make fire around Ho-oh since Lugia had water around it but I couldn't make it look good so I messed around in photoshop to make glowing fire idk <_>;

Because Ho-oh is a rainbow bird I wanted to use alot of different colours but it's mainly red...oh well XD;
I honestly don't think it turned out as well as the Lugia pic but I'm still learning how to use SAI, hopefully I'll get better soon, hope I didn't ruin Ho-oh for you....sorry if I did -_-;

because LUGIA (lol pkmn always uses caps) is so damn epic!! One of my fav legendaries no doubt, it's got an awesome theme as well!XD This is one of my first pics that is only coloured in SAI.

And it didn't take long to draw, 3 hours...which is very little for me, the only reason I could clock myself this time was because I drew the picture in one-go.

Wohoo the unnecessary sequel (maybe I should make a whole set XD)! Love playing around with effects This pic didn't take long but maybe you can guess why....yeah there's hardly any colours in this pic, I believe the cloud in the background took most of the time XD (and it's not even very good lol). But I love colourless pictures...sometime 8D they look mysterious~ Oh and black shading is just love as well, to bad I don't use it often xD;

I drew China this time, haven't been drawing her for ages :'D She looks alot older but that's because my style have changed massively and her eyes are half-shut xD
Nothing special about this pic it just looks strange...and those clocks are related to her background story, that's why they're there yeah <_>; and omg her arm is like...breaking apart! D8

I finally managed to finish a drawing of mine! Yes I have about a billion drawings I've sketched and started linearting but just grew bored of. |D

I really enjoyed drawing this picture because I like the falling pose and Air-As crazy hair. XD I also recognize my art again, mega colourful! XD The last one I submitted was quite grey...

hello everybody! KerrZ is back ruining your great time!

This picture is the first I've submitted of Aki since I redesigned her a bit (doubt many of you remember her anyway)....
It's supposed to look like she's entering another world and everything gets blury...I can't explain sorry |D;

Meant to do this picture as an experiment for a new colouring style and such, but I failed so I used my old cell....because that's the only type of colouring I can use. >_>;;; At least I managed to give the picture a certain feeling with the type of colours I used, a bit dull and grey. xD And the picture itself is a bit inspired by the Steam-boy movie, it was pretty neat! Watch it! xD

Felt that I should practise angels and poses so I made this pic : X Sorry for spamming pictures with Orange though OTL I'll stop now xD; (she's even in my avatar)

Also wanted a different background from my usual stuff so I drew a town beneath her. I had really fun drawing this pic anyway : D (even though some parts didn't turn out as I wanted)
And btw I changed her name a bit, or gave her another actually. Cammie (suggested by ~AnimeNeko123)...But I still want her to be known as Orange here at DA.
Her new full name is currently Cammie Orange Real.

yayz I'm finally done with my art teacher for HA I've been so busy, visiting friends and working OTL

there is already of pic of him online by *ClainDeLune the guy to the far right XD

so here's some info =X

Name: Florian von Adema
Age:27 (in human years) but around 100+
Height: 194 cm (approx 6'4)
Weight:84kg (approx 185lbs)
Talents:

Swordfighting (he's quite good with a sword but he prefers to not fight and solve conflicts peacefully). I really should have researched drows more before making the design....

Very aesthetic, he has quite a talent when it comes to drawing and playing music etc.

Dancing should be included with aesthetic but still wanted to call it another talet. He master many kinds of dances but the nr. 1 favourite is waltz of course

He often walk around with a sketchbook (that mainly includes drawings of women (a real ladysman, or supposed to be)) or a glass of wine. He acts very posh but can also be very unserious at times (but change imidiatly if he has to). He's using a different cape and mask almost every day, but these on the picture are the main ones. He enjoyes teaching art at HA because he's quite pedagogic and enjoys looking and drawing art himself.

Appearence He's quite calm most of the time, but can also be seen as a bit silly and quite random. Sometimes he can be a bit crazy as well (many artists are so). He likes to get attention from people but would never demand it. He greets very politly and if it's the first time meeting him he can also be seen as a quite serious person (unless he's meeting a pretty woman lol xD).

For once I drew a picture with a symbolic meaning, even though it might be hard to understand it if you don't know Chinas background.
Sorry for drawing only my OCs all the time, but I enjoy it more latly. Also...I've got some kind of pose block so they're all just sitting there.

Anyway the meaning of this pic is~ she's in a room, stuck in time, looking out from a window and all those bright dots are the lights that shines through (the whole pic is kinda sad...)

That's the easy part, the rest of the meaning is hard to understand unless I tell you everything about this character of mine but I just can't be bothered, sorry.

[EDIT 2] ~-grim- reminded me of the rules for this contest, to only use 2 sides of the t-shirt (I used 4 before). So I've redesigned it a bit, hope it still looks good and that you like it, also gave the slogan a white outer line.

anyway this was fun to draw, took me way longer than excepted though

yes I know aki has got the most creative name ever XD^{or nawt}

Aki has a bit of random and kinda grumpy personality, she looks more consentrated here or like "challenge me if you dare" but it was kinda hard to find pokemon that would "fit" her xD;;

ecruteak city is my fav from old gold/silver, so mysterious :3
I changed her kimono to winter clothes btw.
also her real age is 19-20, she's younger in this cuz it felt more natural, tried to copy the pokemon style a bit so she looks younger as well xD;;

in the bag aki has alot of pokeballs, a fisighrod, bicykle, potions, food for herself and her pokemon, berries, hm and tm's, a note book/calendar and much more

shiny ampharos is shiny C:

BunBun a furret. looks quite happy here but most of the time it's just as grympy as aki herself xD she grew up with it and was basicly her first pokemon (so that's why they've got similar personalities) he's also got a scarf~

Muffin a gengar. a sneaky pokemon with an even more sneaky personality, often scares aki more then the enemy XD but is quite gentle when he wants to, she found him as a gastly in the bellsprout tower~

Wing a pidgeot. cought her as a pidgey, the first pokemon she cought herself. wing has quite a serious and calm personality and always tries to pretect those who stand her close~

Plum an ampheros (hope I spelled it right). also a pokemon she caught early in her journey as a mareep, just gotta adore mareeps cuddlyness, but slowly evolved into an anmpharos. Plum believes that she's the prettiest creature on earth and is a bit ego cuz of that. besides that she's also got a short temprament and fights wildly to the bitter end~

Teto a totodile she got from prof. elm as a starter pokemon. she kept him in his baby stage, he may ot be as strong but strength isn't everything. she just didn't wanted him to change, and teto is fine with that, he'd rather be small and fast than huge and strong. he's very active and happy most of the time, loves to swim of course~

Mars a houndoom she got under odd circumstances, aki took him as a houdour from an older couple who couldn't keep him anymore. Mars is quite loyal and friendly but also though in battles
