This was just a little experiment, gloss paint is extremely difficult to use so I didn't have a lot of control. But this has prepared me to do another gloss painting that will be better next time.

I should of uploaded this a few months ago, I actually have quite a lot of work I've not shared with deviantart, so I apologise for being inactive, I'm a bit shy!

Anyway, I wouldn't say this is my best and I still think I have a lot to learn about composition. The idea behind these portraits is to explore the psychology of the subject matter, I know it's a bit too subtle at the moment! I was thinking of doing this as a big splattered ink painting, but I'm not entirely sure yet. I need to come up with something exciting.
