DVDs, have HA! airing on TeenNick, and although Craig Bartlett is working for Nickelodeon again (big step if you ask me!), we still have quite a ways to go! So continue onward until we get our movie!! (And after that too ^^) This is no time to get comfortable, but push on till we get TJM (also possibly The Pataki's and a 6th season if we're nice ^^; )!!
Just keep on fighting the good fight, and do everything you can to get the word out to Nick that we (people/kids of all ages) would like to see The Jungle Movie!! :) Give us a conclusion to a great show, Nick! (Pretty, pretty pleeaaseeee!!?)

Yeah, I have been on a(nother) HA! kick lately.

So, this was one of those ideas where I was like, 'ahh, I have to draw it; it won't get out of my head!'- kind of ideas. Haha, to tell you the truth, I don't know why I never made this connection before, with her adventures in the forests and ancient places... though a botanist/doctor will probably not be raiding tombs XD. But their outfits and brown hair are similar, at least! So some features I changed (the braid, the outfit), and some things have stayed the same (the Stella-ness, the backpack color). :o Plus, I like Tomb Raider/Lara Croft, and Hey Arnold!/Stella so, I had to draw it! :XD: :) I hope you like it!

P.S. I didn't call her "Stella Shortman" since Arnold's last name is not 100% confirmed yet, but maybe once it is, I'll change it?...
But, I kind of like thinking of Croft as her maiden name or something. :P hahaha, jk... :XD: Sorry if it's kinda dark (in color). o.o This is not exactly TJM fanart, but I guess it could be...

It's still in the works, but it'll probably take forever (like so many other things...) since I'm doing this on my own and without any special programs... (I'm a comic artist, not an animator XD). So, it'll be done the 'old fashioned' way! lol. But if you have any animation programs that you suggest that I try, I'd love to hear them. (I'm just using ol' Sony Vegas.) Anyway, I'll let it be up to you on what's going on. :) (No hints on the music either! Unless you guess... but I hope you won't! lol)

Okays, so... the scene takes place sometime in the fanmade story I'm gonna do on Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie (which isn't out officially...YET... but dammit, it will be someday!) :shakefist: I added it on the list of my life goals, lol :giggle: Dedication? YES! :XD:

K, anyways~ :XD: They kind of save each other from a river one of them fell in (haha, I haven't decided which yet), and this is after they've gotten out. Their clothes are supposed to look 'muddy' in colors. :XD: (that's not a mistake! lol...)

Those of you who haven't recently watched the show might not remember where this scene references from. In "Arnold's Valentine" (Season 1), Helga dresses up and pretends to be "Cecile", who is Arnold's penpal from France. And she kind has her hair down over one eye like this... and Arnold just kind of has a flashback, like wtf....... o.O.... (Okay, maybe he doesn't say exactly that, :giggle: BUT!)

He is rather, erm :XD: Surprised? Disturbed? Confused? LOL, by his 'revelation'. lol :XD:
What, am I giving too many spoilers away? lol
Well, I originally wanted this to be a full-fledged comic, but now I'm not sure if I'll have time time, or if I *do* do it, it might take forevers, so... I think I'll make a story for it and just do lots of illustrations for it on the side. But I'm not sure yet. We'll see~ :giggle: ^^;

MAN, I have too many projects going on at once!!! O: lol...
But at least I know I'm living for something...^^... plus, I like to multi-task, hehe :giggle: :blowkiss:

It's not perfect, but this was mostly for practice with acrylics, since my *newfound discovery*!!(dadadada! lol) found me out that they use acrylics + colored pencils for their backgrounds, not watercolors + colored pencils like I thought befores... (I asked a person on Ebay who used to work on the show :giggle: thanks again, scratchbuilt66! XD XD )
But when you water-out the acrylics like a 'glaze' then it acts basically *like* watercolors! : o!! Actually, it's more like a mix between watercolors and oils...! >__> I love it... X 00

It's not perfect, but this was mostly for practice with acrylics, since my *newfound discovery*!!(dadadada! lol) found me out that they use acrylics + colored pencils for their backgrounds, not watercolors + colored pencils like I thought befores... (I asked a person on Ebay who used to work on the show :giggle: thanks again, scratchbuilt66! XD XD )
But when you water-out the acrylics like a 'glaze' then it acts basically *like* watercolors! : o!! Actually, it's more like a mix between watercolors and oils...! >__> I love it... X 00

Actually, this is more depressing. D:

This takes place probably sometime during "The Pataki's" (which hasn't happened...yet...? lol)

The creator, Craig Bartlett, says that Arnold has moved away and the couple have recently broken up before the show starts. (They're about 15 yrs. old, btw.) From what it sounds like, by the end of "The Jungle Movie" (which hasn't happened either...yets, lmao), they've gotten together, so they've been together for about 5 years and now have had to split apart...:0 Craig hasn't given us any direct reasons WHY but, I can guess...:/
(Probably related to their personalities and Helga's family problems; I don't think it's all just cause it's a 'long-distance-relationship'.)

*EDIT:* Actually! Craig Bartlett, himself, has recently told us in a chat that they could've broken apart way before "The Pataki's" or just before it, SO it doesn't sound like it was because of the 'long distance thing' after all! :o!

So... she is wondering if she should just give him up or not... I mean, it's been 12 years since...

My first, REAL deviation in like, three months, and it's not even dbz...:XD:
Sorry, I'm in the middle of a recent "Hey Arnold" fanatic wave; I just watched a bunch of episodes and, I dunno, just kept thinking about it?? : So I did a fanart. :D *helps release emotions* lol ^^; :giggle:

Maybe certain cartoons don't fit right with half of my style, lol.
I only really like how I did Gerald-- Arnold and Helga were... so hard. TT__TT I swear, Arnold used to look like a weird Humpty Dumpty look-a-like before I spent all night, basically, just trying to fix him. @_@
Anyway, I'm glad it's done, and now I can move onto more important things, like giftarts and Trunks'-Date-that-he-never-seems-to-actually-go-on :XD: lol :lol:
(What about homework, Gena? ^^; *is talking to herself*) >.>;;

Anyway, I hope you like it, in some way... I know it looks weird, but I just couldn't help but draw it. >_> I almost didn't upload it before I fixed it, since it sucked so much (more).
