I was resisting and I was persistent in my resistance. But one day I decided to give GNOME 3 a try and since then, I'm using it on daily basis. It looks good (enough) and, most importantly, it doesn't get in the way, which means, it gives me everything I need to do my job. Empathy integration is wonderful same as Shell extensions. Depending on what you need, GNOME 3 can really be a great DE (:

GNOME 2.30.2 @ Debian Sid

Autumn is here and so are some changes on my system. Finally I've switched from Tomboy to Zim -- I highly recommend Zim, it's one of my favorite Linux apps. Second important change is switching to PulseAudio -- I recommend this tutorial for Debian users. Last but not least is changing Audacious to Rhythmbox -- mainly cause the second one integrates with indicator-sound and it's sooooo sexy (:

I came back to similar setup as in New, posted in March. Some icons from desktop were deleted cause I finally made myself to configure Stacks in AWN (which is wondeful!). I also made use of WebApplet in AWN and that's how I combined Gmail-Tasks into it (the milk icon on the right). As you may seen on my last shot, I came back to Firefox and changed Deluge to Transmission. Recently I also switched from Banshee to DeaDBeeF (which is, for me, the best music player for Linux ATM).

Debian Ubuntu Monochrome Glow

8 minimalistic 1680x1050 wallpapers for Debian and Ubuntu GNU/Linux distributions (4 walls for each distro). Credits go to art-styles who created and permitted to use his wonderful work. Go to his profile and give him some love!. Stock:

Simple web browser start page. You can find preview on my last shot: Viva La Shot.

Some basic informations:

All names and links changes are made in file index.html;
If you want to change look (background, text color etc. etc.) check out css/style.css file and follow comments in it (if you need them, of course);
If you want to change Debian Swirl favicon, just replace favicon.ico file in main folder, or comment out/remove line from index.html file;
Page is using css/reset.css which can be found here: YUI 2: Reset CSS;
Site have valid HTML and almost valid CSS (read below);
Page is using text-shadow property which is not valid in CSS 2.1. Most of modern web browsers should display it properly (I have checked that in Iceweasel/Firefox and Chromium/Google Chrome);
