I don't think i will be making any further changes to this. I am glad so many of you liked it, thanks for all your comments and faves.

It is of course a 3D Image, made with "VUE" by Eon Software. It was just an experimental render, but its now quite complete. And i know alot of you seem to think so but its not meant to be the 'Allspark' i am not even a big transformers fan, though the movie's were kinda cool.

I am very happy with how this turned out, and i have been waiting a while to upload it, this is the second try i hope everyone likes it. I was playing with the planet textures in photoshop and came up with these after a few hours, then i went on to max for the planets and basic lighting, and finally back to photoshop for for the nebulae and stars etc.

A huge thanks to ^artofkerem for featuring this as a DD, it is a real vindication for taking the time to side track from my usual work.

The timing is perfect as i am currently working on a very highly detailed 3D model of NASA's L.R.V. (Lunar Rover/Moon Buggy), an highly complex and somewhat unusual vehicle. So far i have made over 200 unique parts for the model and i would say i am about 60% done overall.

The image was completed over a period of 4 months it had more than 80 layers and the actual final resolution was 3000x4500 pixels.

Project abandoned, i made it in to what should be a better wallpaper:

Tweaked the levels, altered the colours, and added a suitable lens flare since they are usually quite prominent in NASA shots of earth from a similar altitude (and look really cool).
