Great fun to do, and the magazine also comes with an extensive workshop on how to paint pin-ups girls. I actually wanted to have a little kitten sitting at the from of the screen looking at the viewer knowing only peace and no danger. I soon figured out that I had to let the chick and the cat interact to make this piece work out. I guess there are not other back story to this than I simply enjoy making pieces like this. I also wanted to experiment a little with a light sources directed straight down from the top og the screen, lighting up dust particles in the air.<br />

Jhonia is part Jyniae, and because of that he is able to touch the Source, able to use the magic of his people. Alyx is part Rydi and with his Rydi blood comes the grace and skill that are attributed to that race.<br /><br />Alyx and Jhonia soon discover their worst fears have come to pass, the Jyniae plan to seize the lands and cities that once belonged to them. War is on the horizon. I also decided to leave it as grey-scale as I kind of like it this way. Actually the others got off better than me as the world kinda ended shortly after this and I was still stuck in 1929. Oh well, it was fun for as long as it lasted. <br /><br />This scene is not really from that session at all, but It&#039; inspired by the setting and the monsters you can find in this setting. The dude on the picture is referenced from a photo I shot of a childhood friend of mine. I think he looks cool on the picture, giving it all even though he doesn&#039;t really stand a chance against mr. tentacle<br /><br />Painted during quite a few evenings using Photoshop with a Wacom tablet. He is a tall grizzled veteran with a mop of hair that was once dark but has now turned to a whitish grey. He is a tall grizzled veteran with a mop of hair that was once dark but has now turned to a whitish grey. I actually started this one in the beginning of December 2007, so it took me over 2 months to finish because of that. I hate that as I kinda loose my connection to the piece. Still, I&#039;ve still spent a lot more time on this one than usual. <br /><br />I got this idea a while ago, and I wanted to paint another Norwegian friend of mine, just for fun, basically <img src="http://e.deviantart.com/emoticons/s/smile.gif" width="15" height="15" alt=":-)" title=":-) (Smile)" /> <br /><br />Photoshop with a Wacom Intuos 2. I made a rough, low-poly 3D scene base to get the tiles right (3DS Max), but everything is still fully painted. I haven´t been in doodly mood for a  while due to several reasons, and this  painting has been lingering for weeks.  I hate that because I usually finish my  paintings during 2-3 days. Today I  decided to just wrap it up, no matter  the result. It didn´t turn out as I  hoped, though. <br />
