Because of too much work and other issues, I haven’t had as much time as I wanted to paint personal pieces lately, and this is the result of that. Synopsis

Even though I've done a lot of work lately, my muse has been gone for the past 6 months, and it finally felt nice doing some personal painting again.

This is basically just something I've been playing around with for the past 2 evenings, with no plans what so ever. I also decided to leave it as grey-scale as I kind of like it this way. It was great fun trying to make it appear as if she had wet skin and hair; it doesn't require as much details as you might think

I'd like to dedicate this piece to our recently ended Call of Cthulhu pen & paper roleplaying campaign. We kinda scewed it all up getting all tricked by Nyarlathotep! That bastard old God fooled the party through a portal and they got all thrown back to ancient Egypt, except me who barely manage to jump back out before it closed behind me. Actually the others got off better than me as the world kinda ended shortly after this and I was still stuck in 1929. Oh well, it was fun for as long as it lasted.

This scene is not really from that session at all, but It' inspired by the setting and the monsters you can find in this setting. The dude on the picture is referenced from a photo I shot of a childhood friend of mine. I think he looks cool on the picture, giving it all even though he doesn't really stand a chance against mr. tentacle

I haven´t been in doodly mood for a while due to several reasons, and this painting has been lingering for weeks. I hate that because I usually finish my paintings during 2-3 days. Today I decided to just wrap it up, no matter the result. It didn´t turn out as I hoped, though.

Painted from scratch using Photoshop with an Art Pad. Hard to tell how much time I´ve spent, but I would guess a total of approx. 4 evenings is quite close to reality. ]]>
