I was called by the head of the cataid organisation and was asked if I want to take pictures of some cute Babies-cats. Kittens were mostly raised in helping families, because that is the best way for a good sozialisation and prevents infections which could occur in the cat-shelter. So my girlfriend and me drove to the family and when we came in the Woman who raised kittens smirked at us, gave us a note and mentioned that we had to name the kittens first
We considered hard and suddenly my girlfriend grabbed the note and named this little critter Olli. So the kitten became my namesake. She said that little Olli was the most hungry one in the litter so he HAD to be named after me

Party I had the chance to make cat pictures in my atelier Finally I had enough light, time and room.....
This is one of the first pictures of this shooting with my starmodel Pamuk. Sadly not all cats are able to do shootings like this because most of the cathouse cats are too shy and made bad experiences so only the younger, more open minded cats are proper. However it was such a funny evening and Pamuk was adorable in every way. It was hard to give him back to the cat-aid but tomorrow he will move to his new forever-family

The difference between this RAW-photos and the RAW-photos I made in the cat house is enormous.
No noise, nearly no post processing....

Cat application Film

OMG the little green alien cats have landed

In my last picture so many people asked about the green ears. In this picture you can see the cats some days after tattooing. They have started to clean their ears and smear the tattoo-paste nearly everywhere But to be honest this is very extreme and I had to smile when I see Lisa who turns into a Hulk-kitty *rofl*

Some information about the green ears:
Every cat which come to the cat shelter get neutered, immunized, got something against parasites, chipped and TATTOOED. Thats why they have green ears when they come from the vet. The tattoo is a registration option like a chip but it is more obvious. They get a individual number in their ears and that number is registered on an organisation called TASSO. If you find a cat on the street the tattoo is a first hint that the cat may have an owner. You can call TASSO and they can find the owner very soon. Or your cat got lost and maybe had an accident and died on the vet they can give you this sad information too.
The tattoo-paste will vanish in a view days and only the number will be apparent. All in all its a good thing even if it looks strange on the first sight

I don't have the right words....
She is so nice and cute.... I like the cat
But I doesn't like the humans/breeder who make this to the beautyfull animals.
She has nearly no nose. She can not breath, sniff, eat, clean herself like normal cat, has problems with her eyes...
That is beastly. Humans do it to make this bread more cute not for the animals

We visited the kitten-nursery-station of the cat aid organisation last week where abandoned kitten were coddled up and stay until they find a new home.
All kittens are adorable but Miro was a little heartbreaker with his cute shyness. He had a lot of trouble in his short life so he needs a little trust in humans again. So the members ordered a cuddle therapy for him (and it works )

Goodbye Silver

Silvie says goodbye to Silver because he found a new home and moved from the cat organisation last week. Always great when they find a new family But Silver had great chances because he looked special but a cat like Silvie (here on the picture) has way more problems to find the family just for herself. She looks "common", is older and a little shy but she is so lovable and her character is wonderful (and she makes the cutest noises while she is playing ). Cats like her wait sometimes up to one year and longer...

Another picture of Silver who was thrown out of a driving car, wrapped in a plastic bag...
When he was found he was in a very bad condition. His fur was dirty and completely felted so he need to be shaved. He is so lovely and kind that he allowed the vet to shave without any protest. I have no idea why people did this to him, really. He is so lovely and so uncomplaining...

The Pawless Pawrate

I love ALL cats. All kind of cats but some of them shine brighter than the other Ritchie is one of them. He has an bad infection so his leg has to be removed to safe his life. Now he is a pawless Pawrate It is incredible how fast cats recover and be able to life with such an handicap. He is very shy and fearful (I think he made bad experiences with humans in his life) and when a human shows he disappears into the smallest edge try to be unseen. In the cathouse I always have my girlfriend on my side and she is such a cat-whisperer :inlove: She is always able to connect to those uber-shy cats and made them pose for me. She always uses the instinct of hunting and playing all cats have. So if you have a very shy cat try to play with them. The success in hunting and playing gives your cat more self confidence and this can help to built up a trustful relationship to their owner. AND it is so much fun

For me it is a special picture because I take it in the moment when the curiosity wins against the fear and he comes out of his box....
