This took me longer than any other artwork I've ever done. This was the most complicated and detailed pattern I've done to date, and I have to say I'm pretty satisfied with it.

The client's idea was to have the left side more traditional posh British and the right side to be more "street".

This design is made up of 100% Recycled vectors. The shoe is roughly based on a Creative Recreation designed shoe. This was for the ANCI judged contest in Milan end of next month. The theme was "Legendary Italian Footwear". I actually rushed to get this done (thus the reused elements) because I misunderstood the deadline.

My personal works have been few and far between lately. It seems like I've been too busy with commercial projects to concentrate on my personal work. I told myself this would never happen, but I guess it was all just a matter of time.
Anyway. I'm off to Tahiti this weekend for awhile for a much needed vacation with my wife.
So I figured this design helped catch my mood and was a direct inspiration/dedication of my upcoming trip.
