One month ago I took part in an art contest organized by Ubisoft Milan, and I won.
They asked us to create an illustration with a character from the Assassin's Creed series and an Italian monument on the background. I chose a modern setting and the MART of Rovereto, a beautiful architecture by Mario Botta. Since the traditional symbol of the Assassins is an eagle, I wanted "air" to be the theme of my illustration.

This artwork is now exposed at the Assassin's Creed Art (R)Evolution temporary museum in Milan until October 23th.

I don't know if my version resembles the original or not, but I really wanted to draw him more Native American than European.

_{Ratonhnhaké:ton, also known as Connor Kenway, was a Native American Assassin living in colonial America during the latter half of the 18th century. He was also an ancestor of Desmond Miles.
Born to a British father and Mohawk mother, Ratonhnhaké:ton was raised among his mother's tribe. He suffered severely during his childhood, largely from the tribe's encounters with European colonists; a conflict that reached its peak when his village was destroyed by a colonial force.
This event prompted him to seek justice for his people and fight tyranny wherever he saw it. His endeavors eventually led to him joining the Assassin Order in 1770, as well as adopting the name "Connor" in order to more easily move through colonial circles.
Five years later, the American Revolutionary War erupted, and Connor found himself siding with the leaders of the American revolution, namely George Washington and Benjamin Franklin, partially due to his belief in the ideals that they represented.
At this time, he also met other notable figures, such as Charles Lee and Lafayette, as well as Paul Revere and Samuel Adams.

Some weeks ago Ubisoft Italia announced a contest for the Italian Assassin's Creed Fanday. I partecipated with this fanart, in which I wanted to express the duality and the parallelism between Altair and Ezio.
I was selected with other 15 people (16 subjects! LOL) for the AC fanday... and it was amazing, I'm so happy I took part in it!
I want to dedicate this fanart to the other 15 "subjects" and to the Ubisoft boys (and girl! XD) who welcomed us... and saved us from the Abstergo bad guys when they wanted to kill us all!
Oh and to Diego Baldoin too, the new fantastic Italian voice actor for Ezio (want to hear his beautiful voice? Click here!), who joined us at the hotel. He was so kind and funny!

Done for the "Carte Blanche" contest (UbiWorkshop)... not selected. Oh well.

This is my Hashshashin, he's a Saracen from Spain. The background is inspired by the beautiful palace of Alhambra. On his belt are engraved the names of Allah, and on the Assassins' symbol is one of His names: Al-Mumit, The taker of life. His weapons are the hidden blade and the scimitar.

Assassin's Creed 2: Mask

Aaaand... here it is! I like it. I think it's one of my best works!
I'm still in love with Altair but I have special feelings for Ezio because he's italian like me! And because he's from Florence~ Florentines have this incredible sexy accent (their strict dialect is very funny btw XD)! I love them and I love their beautiful city more than I could say.
I like the idea of him taking off the mask but still not showing his face because of the dark shadow of the hood.
The church in the background is the Saint Mark basilica in Venice. I'm sorry for the crappy mask, I suck~ real venetian masks are much more beautiful! I lived in Venice for a couple of years and I visited many shops where the masks are still produced with the same methods as centuries ago, they're real pieces of art! Venice is a beautiful city too, yeah. Maybe a little damp, in winter, mh. ù_ù;

For me, since the beginning, Altair was a king. For his strenght, for his arrogance, because he knows he's superior to everyone else in his Order. At the start of the game, though, he would be a very, very bad king! XD On the contrary, at the end of the game he's ready to become the new "Al Mualim", the new Master Assassin, and this is the idea I wanted to put in this artwork. I hope you like it!
