Post-Moscow Blues

Moscow was...Beyond words amazing. So in my post-moscow excistence I feel a bit gloomy and doomy. However, I am very happy and extremely grateful for having experienced something like this. I met a lot of epic people, and had many exciting moscow-adventuresz. I got to attend the 1.may demonstrations, and saw fascists and old-communists and anarchists and national bolsjevists and much more. Getting to speak about myself and my art to a room full of russian comic enthusiasts was also much fun, although a bit scary @-@ I was also very impressed by all the artwork I saw. Not only the official artwork featured at the festival, but stuff I saw while peeking into peoples sketchbooks as well. I felt like these anonymous creatures should've been the ones being official guests at the festival, and not me x u x Anyways, lotsa good memories I have, and I want to say thank you to all the peeps who made my trip into the awesome trippy trip is was! <3 <3

Tomorrow i'll be going to moscow! To attend this comic festival. I was invited along with some other norwegian comic artistsz, to promote norwegian comics. Those of you who've read my FAQ comic will know that russia is one of my dream destinations. So getting to travel there for free, in tha name if comics...magnifique *-* even so i'm kinda looking forward to returning already x) In some ways i hate travelling. I just want to stay where i am and do nuthing @-@ also i got a bit fed up on russians when i was in Thailand this winter. But anyway, russia here i cooomee >->

A little note: No dissin' Justin Bieber, really. I actually think he's a cool guy. I'm not a *belieber* myself, because I simply don't like his musical style very much. But still I think he is a talented guy, who has gotten where he is because of his talent, and not only because he had a huge mahcinery ala disney pushing him forwards all the time.

The only thing I don't like about the guy is that sometimes he has a really creepy expression ö-ö Like he wants to eat your lady-soul or something. which is what this strip is about

Ohoho this is old. because I drew this the summer I was going to compete in the nationals (running, 800m). And I would've gotten a medal I think, but then I broke this tiny bone inside my toe, and didn't get to run after all. I broke that bone by running around with flip flops while shopping art supplies in oslo xD I was a bit relieved, because I didn't really want to run in the nationals. So exhausting!

But yeah, I remember drawing this when I was waiting to take an x-ray of my foot. So it must've been in 2010 maybe :I

A letter for Julian

A few months ago, I wrote a letter to my dear friend julian [link] (I luv sending letters o-o) I was quite happy with it, because it was written, or at least a big percentage of it, in latin ö-ö I don't know why, really... Most of the latin words where latin animal names though... <_< Oh well.

Anyways, because I wanted to make the letter extra nice, I decided to draw a little something on the envelope. So I drew a baby sphinx . But after finishing it, I thought it looked a little lonely. So I drew a city in the background, so that the tiny sphinx wasn't just floating around in some grey, strange and empty space. Maybe it had been thrown out of the city for being a sphinx, but yeah, that's better than being all alone in some grey void, don't you think? ^_^
