This is the postcard/business card/bio comic that I was handing around to artists and creators at SDCC this year.

It was a last minute idea that I thought would be cool to give to people.

What I didn't expect was the awesome response to it from creators.

Many people, including Leinil Yu, Olivier Coipel, David Marquez, Darwyn Cooke, Sanford Greene, Richard Taylor and others, were very positive about the idea. They had never seen it before and some creators even said that they'd steal the idea too.

A HUGE compliment.

It was such a simple idea that showcases who I am, where I'm from and what I can do. A jack of all trades kinda deal.

So yeah - this is how I got to be a trend setter at SDCC and set myself apart from other creators.

All I can say is, be innovative and be memorable. This postcard comic opened a few doors and started a lot of conversations.

Where it will lead, only time will tell. I have many business cards and e-mails from people that I will be contacting once I get back to New Zealand next week.
