Alright, here we go. This is the plugsuit I *finally* finished, and I was really hoping to have it done before Q came out, so I\'m really happy about that. This suit was really complicated and a lot of the aspects of it were new to me, but for all its imperfections I am proud of it. Asuka is not only my favorite Evangelion character, but my favorite character of all time, ever. I have some hope that from what we\'ve seen of the new movie in the trailers that she will have an awesome and badass comeback.

Plugsuits are HARD. I'm sorry it was so windy and my hair is all bleeeeeegh, and I'm sorry for the trash cans in the background

a quick background practice, because i realize i never do backgrounds... i found that when I actually try to do them, i tend to have fun, and they're not nearly as daunting as i made them out to be. i did this during my animation class (instead of doing animation D: )

Translating broken phrases in to Google Translator and putting the settings on English --> Japanese DOES NOT MAKE YOU JAPANESE.

I am so tired of seeing all the 10 year olds on here writing every journal, deviation description, and comment in Japanese, and having equally dumb 10 year olds respond back in translated writing, thinking "THIS MAKES ME LOOK COOL AND JAPANESE".

If you actually knew Japanese, you would realize the Google Translator BUTCHERS not just Japanese, but any language. When people who actually speak Japanese read it, it's hardly understandable.

WHY CAN'T PEOPLE BE PROUD OF THEIR HERITAGE??

Seriously, stop it. It does not make you look cool.

This is not meant to offend people who are of the Southern Baptist faith... and enjoy it.

But for those who are dragged to church, dress up in the frilly easter dresses, forced to sing the hymns off-key, or have to bear listening to people shout during the sermon or fall over and have a seizure in the middle of the aisle because "Jesus entered your body", please know you are not alone.

I grew up in Georgia, but the bulk of my family lives in Tennessee. When visiting for Christmas, Easter, or on general vacation, I was pulled off to church for the most traumatizing two hours of my life.

Facts about Southern Baptist churches and people:

The old ladies that attend these churches are gossiping witches. They are mean, wicked little women.

If your dress is not pristine and pressed for church, you will be asked to move to the back pews. Jesus doesn't appreciate ungroomed women.

If you don't put at least $20 in the donation bowl when they start up the organs and pass it around, all the followers will shun you and give you dirty stares until next Sunday, when you must put $40 in in retribution.

The people down the line in your pew are always looking to see how much you put in, so they can put in more.

When the preacher is really moving everyone, you are frowned upon if you don't throw your hands in the air or shout "Amen!" at the end of every sentence he speaks.

I have seen two exorcisms preformed during church in my life. Both were on the same woman. She was well known across town to be crazy and very disturbed, so one of the local police officers arrested her for public drunkenness and brought her to the church to be exorcised, not take her to jail or a mental hospital.

I really hope I win Mostly because I really want to try coloring with prismacolors. I know they are wonderful, and I want to try something other than just COPICs, but my COPICs are so expensive to buy and maintain that I can't possibly afford them.

That, and I really want to get this design out there, and have her used for something. I've really grown fond of this character as I was drawing her.

I did this while waiting at my grandparents house right after my wreck. I was still pretty anxious and scared from the accident, and I just had to get things off my mind.

It was hard to draw with a bandage on my arm, but I guess I managed it

There are some mistakes in there, but it's done completely in pen so it can't be helped DX

In a perfect world, such as in the world of Disney, this oil spill would never have happened. What better way to wake people up then to show their most beloved characters tormented by the oil spill as well?

Tthere are REAL animals dying out there, real people getting sick. I wanted to draw something that left an impact on people, that made them think. This idea has probably been used before, but all the better. Others can get this idea out there too, then.

Every day there are THOUSANDS upon HUNDREDS of thousands of gallons of oil freely spilling in to the ocean from the exploded oil rig. Eleven crew members lost their lives when it ignited, and thousands more animals have died.

A few days ago, a dolphin was spotted in distress on the beach in the gulf, and passerby rushed in to the oil-infested water to it's aid. They brought it on shore so it could breathe, tried cleaning all the oil off. Even though they tried their hardest, the small, baby dolphin died a few minutes later, desperately gasping for hair, but the oil fumes were in it's lungs.

How many more countless marine animals and those that hunt them must die before BP gets off it's lazy ass and does something? They don't seem to be doing ANYTHING to plug that oil up. If it comes down to it, I'll get a roll of duct tape and do it my damn self. (Joking, of course, as that's not physically possible, but anything is better than just watching it spill out.)

If you would like to help clean up BPs mess while they sort their priorities out, you can help in SEVERAL ways:

-Volunteer for a local organization that helps animals in distress, especially those on the gulf that are affected by the spill

-Buy Dawn dish soap. every bottle you buy gives a donation to help clean up the spill!

-Write a letter to your local congressman about what you think should be done about the spill, and how you can end offshore drilling

-Donate to the NRDC: [link]

-Follow the relief effort on facebook: [link]

-Write letters to your community, hold rallies, do anything you can to let people know about how BP skipped safety procedures and cut corners just to save money! Read more about how they ignored safety here: [link]

So, I watched StarS again the other day, and the part where Usagi breaks down in front of Seiya about Mamoru being gone just like seriously... broke my heart to watch. Anyone who has seen this episode and knows that by this point Mamoru had already been killed and had his star seed taken knows what I'm talking about.

The way Seiya gets down and grabs Usagi and says, "Am I not good enough?" when Usagi says she wants to see Mamoru again... I never really shipped Usagi/Seiya, because I know in the end Usagi and Mamoru marry, but maybe in another SM universe...

I know I said no more pencils, but I actually came to really like this one. that, and with my coloring, it would get ruined And even though I'm not a big fan of purple, since it's her color, I thought it might work. This is for a very old friend of mine, who absolutely ADORES Sailor Saturn. (Uranus is my favorite, ha ha)

However, I've been working on new concepts and ideas, and as soon as I get home and back to my tablet and markers, I can finally color these bad boys
