Done for the Halloween contest on
The theme is Bone Faced Masquerade.
I'm glad I did it in time! The girl is Judschak, my OC.
I'm satisfied with the color scheme and the overall atmosphere of this picture. The only thing which I dislike is actually the skeleton. I wished I had more time for research so I could have done a better job drawing that.
Oh btw it would be a funny idea to have a skeleton with you as part of a costume during Halloween, haha!

Bun-Hong is a cat magician with pink-blue hair who isn't really talented in magic. (but she tries hard haha)

This picture is showing Dara and Bekho, both my OCs.
Perhaps some people might remember my piece with Dara and Judschak (related pictures, first one). Since I thought Bekho deserved more love, I've drawn her together with Dara although the focus is on her. I loved to draw the whole scene with the patterns! I also realized that I tend to draw some patterns again and again in each picture haha

I don't know exactly how to picture Judschak and Bekho together since they don't like each other that much but I think an action scene with both would be a lot of fun! I'm planning to draw something with them in action..

I introduce you a new OC!

Name: 백호 (Bekho)

Personality: In general, she is a positive person. She always smiles and laughs and people think that she is easy-going but she smiles so much only because she is afraid not to be accepted because of her mutation. In consequence of her appearance, she is friendlier and brighter than she normally would be.

Style: Bekho loves cute things like ribbons, bells and other small sweet accessories. She doesn't prefer any colors but loves primary colors more than other colors.
Also, in contrast to Dara or Judschak she would never wear long, layered dresses or short clothes. She likes comfortable clothes.

Appearance: Because of her mutation, she has animal ears, a tail and 2 different eye colors; yellow and green. Her hair is white and curly and goes to her shoulders. She also has smaller black markings under both eyes.

Background: When she was born, people chose her to be the future wind and metal goddess. Her closest friends were 2 white tigers which accompanies her during her life and can be seen as bodyguards. Bekho never had real friends since children were scared of her appearance and the tigers. Nevertheless she never lost her smile and after some years everyone loved her for being friendly and sweet.
But she is still in search for someone she can trust everything. Although one can't really see it, she is longing for acceptance the way she is.

Relationship to Judschak & Dara: As Bekho was a candidate for the wind and metal goddess, she knows Judschak and Dara. Her feeling towards Dara is positive but she argues a lot with Judschak and tries to teach her not to be so honest.

For those who I commission or who wants to draw her, again you got plenty of artistic freedom here. Just make sure give her different eye colors (right: yellow, left: green) and to make her hair really curly. And she has some tiger-like marks under her eyes, a tail and (pointy) animal ears.

It's hard to say if I like this picture or not. I really liked the sketch and I even liked it while coloring BUT when I almost finished it, I realied I totally did something wrong. The composition and the color schemes are totally off and not the way I planned it.
Nevertheless I tried my best to finish it... somehow.

Now I scanned it it looks even worse.
But I just want to upload it because I actually still love some parts of it. Like her eyes or her hair!

Personality:
If you seek someone exotic, Elpis is the right person for you. She is happy-go-lucky, loves to chat and discuss and is always open to new things since she is quite curious about everything. She is quite eager for knowledge as well but never got the chance to have a proper education. On occasion she talks too much and doesn't listen to others at all.
Also, she is stubborn and she wants to run her head against a wall before thinking about something.
Some people might say she is cool and easy-going but others would rather say she is stupid like hell.

History:
Born in a family of warriors, she was destined to be a warrior as well although she was a female. Because of her strong magical sense she got chosen to be a sorceress knight when she was 5. Although everyone in Voleros knew that magic shortens one's life, magic theory was still taught to very few chosen ones.
Her parents were proud that Elpis was chosen to be a sorceress knight since it was an honour to die for their God.

Elpis was a happy, cheerful child from beginning and she was proud of being herself. She loved her silver hair, her pink eyes and chocolate brown skin. She didn't change a lot during the training time but because of the small spells she used her appearance changed and she lost the sight of her right eye. Most women would be depressed if parts of their skin would become like reptile leather but Elpis couldn't care less. Both, losing her right eye and the change of her skin, were byeffects of using smaller spells.

Her only goal during her training was to learn more. She practically drained all the wisdom of the tutors and mentors but since she was a warrior she never got full education as she wished(most tutors and mentors were warriors too so the education fields were quite limited). Her strong points were sword fighting and of course magic theory.

After the apprenticeship she participated in different wars but never used a crucial destructive spell. But she knows that she won't pass her 30th birthday if she continues to be a sorceress knight. She could feel how even the smallest spell shortened her life.. But she never thought of changing her profession because she couldn't leave her companions alone. She fights with her sword most times and only uses smaller spells if it's really needed.

In peaceful times, she returns to her parental home and helps in the household or teaches sorceress knight candidates the basic use of a sword.

Sorceress Knights in Voleros
As said in this journal entry magic in Voleros is quite limited but there are still people who can use them in certain limits. Elpis is one of them and although she was taught a lot of magic theory she rarely uses magic. Sorceress knights should be rather knights who can use one final destructive powerful spell by sacrificing their own life so their own country can win a war. That's why there are only few and why the apprenticeship already starts so early. Some people say it's because they need time to brainwash the children to make them believe it's good to die for their country and this sorceress knight system is criticized a lot by many people.

Additional Info:
- She loves to meet new people. She loves roses, too!
- She tries to smile a lot since she knows that her appearance might scare people.
- She lost a part of her left horn and her right wing during war.
- The reptile skin/scales are starting on the left side of her face, going around her neck and down to her cleavage.
- She can't fly.

The girl is Dara, one of my OCs, and it's showing her in her unterwater world. I didn't have trouble to work out the concept and composition but it was hard to color it. And in the end, I'm very disappointed about the scan =A=''
But I still like the piece and I hope some of you like it too! c: I totally missed to draw those old Korean buildings. They are so awesome!

My boyfriend said that it didn't look like underwater but I wanted to draw a world where you couldn't say at first sight where you were. Also, the atmosphere should be serious and calm, therefore I didn't want to add any water bubbles. I used some textures from cgtextures.com on the roof of the buildings and on the shark in the front. The rest is done with fineliner and colored pencils.

Dislikes: children, water

Personality :
She is lazy and likes to rest. She is easy to handle since she hates to think too much about anything. Problem is, she really thinks too less which means that you can't really call her trustworthy.
The only things she loves are dolls(she loves to collect dolls) and technical stuff she can recreate or repair. These are actually the only things to make her move or do something. She isn't even fond of sleep or food.
The people don't hate her nor do they love her. She is just a normal (boring) girl unless she starts cursing other people out of fun.

History:
BANETTE generates energy for laying strong curses by sticking pins into its own body. This POKéMON was originally a pitiful plush doll that was thrown away. Strong feelings of hatred turned a puppet into a POKéMON. If it opens its mouth, its cursed energy escapes.

The only thing she remembers from the past is a girl but she can't figure out who this is or why she knows her. For a long time before she came to this village she tried hard to find out who she is and hated herself for not remembering anything. But soon enough she realised that this won't be a help at all and decided to live an uncomplicated normal life since life is short anyway. Untypical for Banettes she loves bright colors which isn't favourable for her attacks but she is stubborn enough to continue wearing bright colored clothes.

Keki is a normal girl who never wanted to be special. Her wish is to continue living in this village with the others. Although she prefers to be alone, she appreciates that the people are around her. If you ever have a chance to ask her about her dream without being cursed in the second moment, she'd say that she'd like to be the best technician and inventor in the village!

Additional info: She tries to keep her dress clean but since her favourite attack is to curse everyone by putting the knife into herself the dress always will be bloody.

I had this in my mind long ago but never had time to draw this until now. I've seen the movie with Latias and Latios(Pokemon Heroes) long ago and although I didn't like the overall movie, I liked both legendary pokemon and their story and personality!
I guess it's rare to see a mecha-type human-looking pokemon but it was a lot of fun drawing this. This is my pokemon inspired OC which I really like! I hope to draw her more often <3

Why the title of this is "lie hidden": I read that Latias comes from lateo(Latin) which means that actually. I couldn't find a good matching title for this picture!

Huh? You are asking me why my kite got the form of a bian fu(bat)? My dad loved to tell me old Chinese tales and I remember him telling me that bats mean good luck. So I made one! It looks gorgeous right? I love it so much!

I know, I know. I should probably have worn a red and black dress during the night to present myself but I just like the blue sky and white clothes. (giggles) I love the nightsky as well, yes of course! To see my kite brighten up the sky with all the others...

Ooops, sorry. People say I'm talking too much but I love to meet other people and talk about everything! (laughs) Wait, I haven't told you my name, right? You can call me Lala. It's nice to meet you!

This is my entry for the 's contest: [link] . I love the flashcomic Knite and `yuumei. I'd be so happy if I'd win but there are sooo many good entries already. Aaaand I'm quite insecure about my OC since she isn't really a serious person at first sight. I could put more depth into her story but first, I don't want to write a wall of text. Second, if this character would appear in the comic, this way it might fit better and `yuumei could build a story around her if she wants it.

My boyfriend told me that the string is way too short and it's true >_< My mistake! Also I'm not really happy how the roof came out. I put so many layers of blue on it but it never looked the way I wanted. Here are the 2 reference photos I used for the background: [link] , [link] .

Some more information about Lala:
She is half Korean and half Chinese. Her mom was Korean but she got back to her homecountry when she was 3. Although she was raised by only her dad, she was always a happy, easy-going person. As her dad says, the time will teach us, take care of our problems and heal our wounds.

About her appearance:
Her original hair is black but she dyes her hair to blond/brown. Her eyes are brown-black. She loves to put make-up on her and she is interested in fashion.

Her children's name was Dara and sometimes she's called like that. But her most favourite name is 청월 which means Blue Moon given by her mother who died when giving birth to her.

Personality: She is intelligent and serious about everything. Although she smiles a lot, people are afraid to talk to her. She never really desired friendships but when she meets Judschak, she understands why friends are so important.
As you can assume, she got quite a difficult personality. She is someone who thinks 100 times before she talks about it.

Style: She got no real own style. She wears the stuff she gets and never complains. She prefers long layered clothes though.

Appearance: She got long floating blue/white hair. As you can see on the illustration, her hair is kind of flying across the air all the time. She got blue deep eyes and she is a natural beauty. Unlike Judschak, she got normal ears. Noone knows how her body shapes are since she only wears long long layered dresses in public.

Background: Her parents always wanted a child who could come after her father who was the water god. Even before she was born, everyone knew that one time she was going to be the water goddess. But on the day of her birth, her mother died when she was born. Despite the fact that she was loved by her family, she felt guilty because of this fact. That was the reason why she was mature for her age. She wanted to be perfect and didn't want to disappoint her father.
She slowly recovers from this trauma after she meets Judschak.

For those who I commission or who wants to draw her, again you got plenty of artistic freedom here. Just make sure to make her hair wavy and floating in the air. She would never show her legs or feet to a foreigner which means she always wears long clothes.

It's been a while since I've dedicated a piece only to my OC, Judschak. I should have done this earlier x_x'' Anyway, here are some facts about her.

Name: Judschak [pronounced Jujak] 주작
Her real name was Jinju but once she became the candidate for the fire Goddess, she lost her real name and was only called Judschak from that moment. She actually hates the name Jinju, so she didn't mind that change.

Personality: Her parents let her do what she want as long as she didn't harm anyone. This made her quite selfconfident, sometimes even stubborn. She does everything she want and she says what's in her mind without thinking long. She was raised like a boy, loves to run, discover the world and just be loud. As you can see, she isn't cute at all. (although some people might consider her cute..)
Being an intelligent, honest girl, she just can't shut up so most people don't like her or try to get out of her way.

Style: She wears flowers in her hair. Perhaps the only sign that she is actually a girl in her heart. She often ties her long red hair up so it won't bother when she runs around.
When talking about her outfits and clothes, she hates layered clothes. She prefers simple clothes and she'd never wear voluntarily something which is longer than her height.

Appearance: She is a skinny girl. Noone knows her exact age but she looks like a 10-12 years old girl. (I'm not strict with her appearance when I draw her OTL..)
She got elven ears and long red hair reaching her knees. Her eye color is brown.
You can rarely see her wings, she prefers to hide them or make them invisible. The wings will grow with the time until she can fly a long time. At this stage, she can't fly since the wings are too small. This is also why she thinks the wings are just useless.

Background: When she was born, noone would have thought she might become the fire goddess one day. Her parents wanted a normal, quiet life for her. But once her power grew more and more, they realised that they needed to let her go her way. It was Judschak's decision to accept the proposal to become a goddess. She was happy to get to know other worlds and new people. But since she was too honest for most people to bear, she didn't find many friends.
One day she meets Dara and they become best friends.

You got full artistic freedom when drawing her. You can change her hairstyle, her outfit, her accessoires, just everything as long as one can recognize her as Judschak. I guess a brown eyed girl with elven ears, long red smooth plain hair and flowers in her hair should suffice.
Also, I actually don't want her drawn with wings. But if someone really wants to draw wings, I'm fine with that too.
