The final result isn't what I wanted it to be, but man this was tedious and time consuming! I wanted to use many more baddies, maybe a dozen total.

I'd like to see yards and yards of fabric for sale here on deviant art. kinda like deviantWear only we design textile fabrics people can use to be even more creative! keep the cycle goin!

anyway... it makes an alright desktop wallpaper (if you don't mind losing your desktop icons in the chaos!!)

These three elements were painted by myself in Photoshop, but didn't seem worthy of being three separate deviations. So after some brainstorming, I came up with a way of blending them into one.

First thing I needed to do was remove Jiminy Cricket, who was standing in front of the storybook with a big goofy grin.
"Character Removal" is a technique I'm slowly getting the hang of, and I was actually wondering if anyone else uses this method...? It's hard to say, because if it's done properly I'm left unable to detect that there was ever anything or anyone in the original source image..

Mario's illustration, and the Cape Feather were drawn from scratch, I don't usually do this. The World-map is a bit on the 'photo-manipulation' side..

Hope someone stumbles over it and finds the nostalgia to be somewhat unbearable
