I used to play on the server, Ysera. I can't say I know much about the lore of WarCraft but being on that server I was able to learn a few things about Ysera. I just loved the idea and the wonderful story line that involves her.

Eve and the fruit. The first temptation right before the first bite into sin.

The flowers in the order front to back:

Almond - Virginity and Fruitfulness (What she in now)

Lotus - Mystery and truth (What the sin will give her)

Day lily/Hemerocallis - Emblem of the Mother (What she will become)

There is the bee on the Almond Flower taking from it and her innocence. She has her lips just ever so slightly open and eyes gleaming at the temptation in front of her.

I was at first not sure if I wanted to use the common fruit that is in most all paintings, the apple. There was no realy meantion in the Bible about what fruit that is was. Thinking about it for the reasons that the apple is known in the US as a symbol as something of intelligent and knowledge. The gift that is given to teachers aswell. The other reason, that many may not that of Eve if she was holding a banana. lol So, the apple won again.

This painting was so much fun. I really had no problems and loved doing every little detail.

I have not done males in a long time and wanted to have something new to work on. I am shocked that it really didn't take long at all.
I have class in the moring until 5pm and I will not be able to work on this until then..so I went ahead and posted this. I am sure there is more I can do to this painting. If anyone sees something that is worth changing or making...I will update it. I just wanted to post it to see what others think.

A Geisha's Glance

I wanted to try something different. I used more of a painted look to this one. I really like to see digtial paintings where you can see the brush stokes in most of the painting. This is my first Asian I have painted.

I really didn't use much to look at with this one. I wanted to keep it simple...but I did alot more then I was planing.

I am still having problems with the clothes. :sigh: I used a few brushes for the tattoo. I can't remebemer where they where from.

My 5th Wacom tablet painting. I was really wanting a strong face to the side and chest that looks at the viewer, much like the Egyptian paintings. I wanted to have lots of colors that are much like sand and colors you would see in the desert. I work with as much detail as I can.

Okay, I hope this is much better then my last tutorial. I tried to keep as many files as I could so if I wanted to make one I could. I was not going to make one on this painting because I am not sure if I like it or if I am 100% done yet.

I didn't think that people would really like the painting that much and I didn't keep a lot of the work as I went to make a good tutorial. I put this together just to show where I started and finished.

I am still learning so I don't feel that I can really teach anyone anything yet...or explain how I do different things. It is just the idea and I hope it can help. *^_^* Really sorry again if it does not help at all, just some friends wanted to see a little something

I forgot to put in there that I used only the three brushes for this painting. I am still learning. In time I will use more and understand more about them.

There is a lot of meaning and feelings behind this picture. I may explain later, but for the time I really don't want to get into it. There is everything from thanks, love and heartbreak, to my own way of my goodbyes.

This is my 3rd try at using a Wacom tablet. I am starting to get use to it. It is much better then using a mouse I can say that much. A really kind person on DA, Scott gave me his for Christmas. Before, all I used was a mouse to do my digital artwork. -.-

My second Wacom artwork!!! *^_^*

I wanted to do something for who has helped me so much since I got my tablet and gave me a few brushes and a lot of tips. So this is a little something for him.

I am kinda upset that there was a BIG mistake and a saved over the big image so all I have is this small on. *cries*

There was going to be more to this...but after that heartbreak I just could not do it. I am still happy with this I guess.

I didn't use any ref photos at all to do this picture. I was just messing around drawing and came up with this and liked it. Then I started to color it and liked it more and then went from there. lol I am sure I would have done a better job if I use something to look at ^^

I had a lot of fun with this and I hope you all enjoy

I am not sure if I am 100% done with this so if you have anything to comment to help let me know ^^ I have a lot to learn.

This is my first artwork with a Wacom! Thank you for the tablet!!

I know it is not all that great and I HATE the tree!!...but I am am done and I tried lol. A lot of the problems was trying to get the right brushes and getting them to work right and understanding them.

With a mouse..there are only 2 that I use lol.

I will just keep at it and I hope you guys can help out ^^ I know there are alot of bad parts...help me out...it will not hurt ^_-

I like the cloud but hate the tree. All I have to say ^^

These two are Aaron and Brian. They are the boys I watch for my friends Mike and Jessica. They are like my family and I stay with them and this is my Christmas gift to the mom and dad ^^ I just got done!

Omg It is so had to work on something when they keep coming home at random times lol...so today I made both of them go away. Mike had to go to the bar and Jessica had to hide in her bedroom.

I would have been done with this in two days but it has taking me a week to be a secret. ^^

My nick name since I was 14 has been "LillyCat". If came from an anime called LILY C.A.T. I always loved that name an when I first started to use the internet, I was making a Yahoo email account and that was the only nick I could think of. LillyCat8 because my fav number is 8 too. I still have friends that call me on the phone and ask for LillyCat :3
My DA account would have been LillyCat, but someone had it *CRIES* I didn't want to put numbers with it so I used my real name...Linda Lisa.

This is just something I am doing for myself. Takeing a short before I do some more work of other people.

I hope I get around to the background to this and then coloring. I LOVE unicorns and if it was not for all the people I know that will kill me if they knew I still love them..I would draw more :3 I just remember a few years ago some old friends from childhood ask me if I still like unicorns and I said, " No way" and they where like " Thank God you FINALY got out of that stage...I was only joking :*(

Then all the times that my grandpa would tell me if he seen one more unicorn he would rip it up in my face...but I found away around that. I would draw a horse, show him and then after draw the horn. ^^

I have not drawing a horse in a long time, but I am so happy I can still draw them without looking at any pictures. ^^ It many be off some but I think that it all and all it good without a photo ref. :3

I was not sure what to do for days for this contest. I really wanted to do something and I really never done an "real" anthro. I just could not think of something that I wanted to do that would be fun just to draw. Then two days ago and just made up my mind and went with a plant. I have to say I had so much fun with this one. I love to ink and WOW. I am sad I finshed this one now lol
I wanted to do her much more like a comicbook character. It is just more fun to ink it that way. I do plan to do more in this style.

~She is an anthro rose/plant if you could not tell :3 I am not really an artist that is into straight lines. I love organic forms and art that flows. How organic can you get then a plant? I thought of many different flowers and plants and I came up with a rose-like woman. Most women love roses but I wanted to do a more wicked rose than normal roses that you see everyday or what a girl gets on a "first date" like situation. Roses are not always pure or about love. ^^

I made every color highlight on its own layer and I never thought of making shortcuts to increases and decrees the brush size. I really learned just how to get the coloring done faster and after I could change anything I wanted to without ANY problems. I even just printed this out today on my new printer and it is great. I am so happy and would liek to thank ThaNass for making things easier for me lol But I do have to say, with that many layers...it would take 5 mins to save after awhile

Much like the Grim Reaper that we know today in the Western world, Reapra is very similar with her ways. She travels the realm of the dead and the living, but only collecting the souls of men. This comes from her horrible past.

Her past:
Her name is now forgotten. It is said she was once a beautiful young woman until she was dragged out of her home and stoned halve to death along with many other terrible things the men did to her after she was accused to be practicing witchcraft. She was a kind woman and her beauty was what became the death of her. For many men in the village wanted her for their own, but she always stood next to her man.

Barely alive and naked, she crawled to the man she loved for help. He spit on her and walked away leaving her to die slowly and alone.

Now:

Letting Go

I lost my best friend, Percy. I have had her for 10 years and she was all I had left of my grandpa. She died the same day as when I lost my grandpa, May 8. She was there with me everyday, everytime I went to bed and got up. Everytime I cried and everywhere I have lived. She was there.
Now she is gone and I am taking it very hard. I started to paint this when she laid there dieing. That is all I could do. I could not sleep or eat .... just sit there with her as so many times she was there with me.

About this picture:
•The purple ribbon pulling her up is for royalty. She was a pure breed.
•One feather to lift her up and a bell that will never ring again.
•A candle that has run out with blue drapery for that was my grandpa's favorite color.
•A cross on the heart that is broken.
•The sheets that the girl is laying on where my grandpa's and that is where Percy loved to sleep with him when he was alive.
•A rose and pearls are all three of our birth flower and stone. We all where born on June 8.

RIP Percy West 5/8/07

I am taking this so hard I had to do something for her. I miss her and I took her to be cremated yesterday. She will sit next to my grandpa. He loved her very much too.

Background:
She caused a funny effect with her one statement about her seeing a dead bird in one of her videos. People went nuts and had many not so nice things to comment about her. She went on playing around with the "emo" trend for many videos where people loved to watch to hate her more. Later she came out with a video called "The Death of Emo Girl" where she explains that it was all a joke and she was seeing how people react to this personalty. She was never "emo".
People still watch the videos and have not got the joke.

lol I was bored and I remember when it all started so I just wanted to make a short about dead birds. ^^

Southern India Woman

This is a fast ink and Photoshop picture I did for a culture study for my portfolio. I am playing as if I am working of a concept art company (gaming, books, mag, ect) , and illustrating fast images of people and places that I am not use to drawing to see and practice my skills with the unfamiliar.

My roommate is acting as if he is the lead artist and telling me what he wants. I come up with what he is looking for and consult with him till the picture is finished. I am not finished till he is happy.

Shark Story

This is a illustration for a story that made a long time ago. She has been pushing me to make something for her so she can see about getting it made into a book.

I am not really happy with it. I have been in a foul mood for the past few days and just really cant get into it. Or that is just that talking and it is fine. Not sure. ~_~ I do however, love the design that I came up with but just don't know about the colors or the effects. I saved the layers and I can later when I feel better, change a few things.

I guess I want to see others input as to what needs to be done.

:Story:

This is what Sandy gave me to work with for this image.

Mother shark is going shopping, for pearls as her old ones are getting worn. (No clothes) She is accompanied by her littlest one who hangs onto a fin all the time. In front of her travels her son who always gathers rocks from the ocean floor and tosses them, also is his sister who can't be still and often twirls around when she's excited, causing a disturbance in schools of fish etc.

Please help me out here before I pull the hair out of my head.

This was a project for fun I did for Kings Of Chaos in mind.

Drawing and inking = 6 hours

Photoshop CS2 coloring = about 14 hours work 26 hours with waiting for each save and reopening. ( I just had to scan it in at 1200 dpi >.< )

I just wanted really nice lines. TT_TT

*Note to self: Don't scan in pictures at 1200 dpi until I buy a faster puter *sigh*
