I'm actually content with how it turned out.<br /><br /><i>We are the animals, the small minded beings.<br />The heartless ones.<br />They merely act like they see us do.<br />Love and they will love,<br />hate and they will hate.'</i><br /><br />Why should Dragons be any different than a dog or cat? Love it, train it right and why wouldn't it be amazing?<br />Fear it and it'll be fear itself.<br />Trust it and it shall trust you.<br />Believe the best of it, and possibly it'll do the same.<br /><br /><br />Anyway, anyone who wants join in the prompt. <img src="http://e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/smile.gif" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" title=":) (Smile)"/><br /><br /><br /><br /><b>| Rights belong to me: |</b></sub> ]]></media:description>        
        <media:text type="html"><![CDATA[ <br />His breath&#133;<br />Ahhh his bitter-sweet breath;<br />It tasted, smelled like acid. <br />You all fear him as a beast,<br />A wretched demon deserving to die!<br />But you don't understand, you never do!<br /><br />His edged claws touched like lilies,<br />Caressed with the utmost of care.<br />His danger teeth grinned so wide,<br />At the mere sight of precious innocence;<br />His unbreakable scales no spear could scratch.<br />His tail, a whip as sharp as spikes,<br />Could kill with just one strike.<br /><br />His eyes, ohhh those blood red eyes,<br />Words are so few to describe such beauty.<br />Yet you fear that deadly stare-<br />Which is really not so deadly.<br />You see a monster, you perceive him as one.<br /> ]]></media:text>

        <media:copyright url="http://nrdcoyne.deviantart.com">Copyright 2012-2013 ~nrdcoyne</media:copyright>            <media:description type="html"><![CDATA[ So I'm submitting this to the folder for the Personal Myth contest on <a target="_self" href="http://knownames.deviantart.com/"><img class="avatar" src="http://a.deviantart.net/avatars/k/n/knownames.jpg?1" alt=":iconknownames:" title="knownames"/></a> but I'm not really submitting it for the contest. I am however submitting it for the <a target="_self" href="http://litplease.deviantart.com/"><img class="avatar" src="http://a.deviantart.net/avatars/l/i/litplease.jpg?2" alt=":iconlitplease:" title="LITplease"/></a> "Enter The Dragon" contest!!<br /><br /><b>For Knownames;</b> I decided not to focus on a particular mythical story but rather on one of my favorite mythical creatures; the dragon. <br /><b>For LITplease;</b> I opted to focus on how dragons are represented and in a way demonstrate how there is a bit of a dragon in all of us, because even though I was born in the year of the monkey, I've always identified with the dragon. Also, the reason the dragon rises out of the water is because 2012 is the year of the Water Dragon.<br /><br />I chose this because I identify with the dragon more than any other mythical creature. A friend of mine once asked me what my favorite mythical creatures were and I said a dragon and a phoenix. When he asked why I said <i>"Dragons are ferocious, they're clever, they're protectors, they're massive and strong and you'd think they'd destroy everything smaller than them, yet they've an acute sense of pride and they make fantastic mothers.         <media:text type="html"><![CDATA[ The Dragon's Cry<br /><br />A single roar resonates for miles around,<br />echoing through the mountain-side as the<br />leaders cower in terror from the fury.<br /><br />Rising from the murky waters of the river<br />breathing fire over all that it despises,<br />the dragon aserts its' power.<br /><br />The libraries are left untouched while<br />the scholars flee for their lives,<br />precious tombs are left untouched.<br /><br />A few stand behind the angered creature<br />awed by the courage and rage before them,<br />they are the protected ones.<br /><br />As the musicians continue playing the beast<br />blows smoke into the gates of the prisons,<br />almost as if trying to cause chaos.<br /><br />The music calms the dragon and it<br />low ]]></media:text>
