The charge was made, the breach in the enemy horde a success. The foe was routed, and the city spared a fate worse than ones before it. There on the edge of the Line, staring out into the distance the companions, joined by new allies, took a moment of respite. What trails had they went through to gain this victory, bonds broken and forged in the crucible of combat? Questions they themselves wonder ... but at the moment, they are merely content with being able to take a breath and share a moment of rest with their brothers and sisters of war.

*New character DLC including Garrus Vakarian, Xan Kriegor, RC-01/138, and a modern UT3 inspired version of the legendary Doomguy! All for the low price of $15 USD or 1200 Microsoft Points.

The least edited picture in the series(sharpening and slight bloom enhance) so I've got nothing to say on that front. But I will say that it's getting harder and harder to get so many people in a shot without it looking like a class photo. Two characters I plan on adding also happen to be bigger than most of the people here(one of them is bigger than Optimus) which isn't going to make things any easier. So from here on out if characters seem to vanish from these pictures from time to time, just assume they're offscreen or fighting elsewhere at that moment.

The warriors rally for extraction on the outskirts of the doomed city, just in time to see the falling curtain of death and woe close on this once shining beacon of humanity. The groans of the Reapers in the distance sing a tale of despair and death to come, sending a cold shiver down the spines of the survivors. For the companions, this is a day of infamy, one that will haunt them for the rest of their lives. As their evac comes screaming out of the ash filled sky, each one takes something different from the past few hours.

Editing explosions sucks. Editing laser beams sucks too. I think I got the explosion to look somewhat decent, but the Reaper energy beam still looks lame. Also, I've decided to add more characters from the same universes as the guys here since I'm running out of available characters from other fictional universes(characters available in GMod that is). So expect things like a certain four-jawed individual, a certain fan of calibrations, possibly a certain clone squad leader, etc.

The flames of war seek to engulf all in it's path, yet a few dare to press on through the embers of destruction. They will be needed for the battles to come, and should they fall here, then all hope for their worlds is but shattered glass.

Might have went overboard with the embers. But since everything is supposed to be burning around them, I guess that's not too much of a problem.

As with most things I do, this was inspired by another song. You have no idea how amazing this song is so you better click the link or I'll eat your head.
