Hi everyone! This idea was inspired by a little shop with teacup candles and macaron bath salts which looked so pretty, I had to buy them.. and share them with you. The macarons look so real and yummy. Hope you enjoy it!!

You know how much I love birds... I captured this little beauty whilst camping at the Murray river with family & friends.. I spent a lot of time bush hiking with my beloved camera, snapping away happily... I hope you enjoy it!
_{EDIT: Woah... thank you all for the support here! I'm so happy you like it. I've been getting soo many notes and questions it's hard to answer them all...

Firstly it is a real photograph, I always shoot in the warmest White Balance, I usually shoot these birds as sunset because that's when they begin to come out... And the colors are so much warmer then. I used a telephoto lens as I can't get close to these birds, but the lens isn't responsible for finding, and being creative with these photos. Don't always think it's the camera that is 100% responsible for creative photos, a lot of thought/creativity goes into them!}

Location: After spending several hours looking for something beautiful to photograph, I spotted this dear little blue wren, it was very jumpy and fast, out of many shots this was the only one I felt was worth submitting. A second after I had taken it, it flew away.

_{I love the story behind this photograph.

I was a newly beginner in photography when I took this photograph; I was walking home from school feeling rather exhausted, when I walked past a flower bush with hundreds of droplets formed on a spiderweb. Without even a hesitation, I ran home and grabbed my camera, I ran back... it was still slightly raining, but all I wanted was that shot of the droplets. The frailty of the droplets were so amazing. I accidentally knocked them in my excitement, and they formed huge droplets.

What a day}

I'm actually quite proud of this photograph... not because I actually got the focus correct, but for the display of pretty bokeh, my favourite heart locket bracelet actually came quite handy...

Quick Tutorial: vintage style

QUICK PHOTOSHOP TUTORIAL: VINTAGE STYLE

So many people have asked me for some tips on creating a classy vintage-styled photograph. I've put together a small tutorial on the main tips, but there are MANY more. I'll touch on these now, as I couldn't fit them in the tutorial above.

Create a classic lighting to your vintage photo. Click on Filter > Render > Lighting Effects. Choose Omni or Spotlight, and change the directions to create what you want.
Image > Adjustments > Photo Filter can be a great tool to use when you really want to speed up the process. It can make your picture have a soft warm light, or a cold harsh blue light to it.
Filter > Texture > Grain is interesting to play with, but not always necessary. It'll make a photo look like it's from the 1800s though (if it's black and white). A bad quality look can still look amazing.
Brightness/Contrast, and Curves can help your vintage colours stand out, so don't forget to play with them too.
Duplicate your image, and click in the layers window and choose different types of Light. I always use Soft Light, and you can do the same with a "New Layer" and a pretty colour on top of your picture. Don't forget about the opacity though, mine's set to 20% usually.
