Revision - At War With Myself

This was a quick revision I did of two of my best pieces for the BlizzCon art contest. They were the same character at different stages of her life, so I thought they would look good together as one piece. It may be cheating in a way since the revision only took me an hour, but I'm really happy with this one.

Edit: I appreciate the nice words, but this piece is not really anything new for me.

The worgen is from my piece called "Memories," ([link]) and the night elf is from my piece called "The Moon Burns" ([link])

A submission for 's Cataclysm contest. They'd like to know what you're looking forward to the new expansion, and this is what I'm looking forward to...

..the new memories.

I've been playing World of Warcraft for 5 years now. I've had so many ups and downs that I can't even go back to remember them. But the one thing I do remember is the people and places that made the greatest impact with me.. It's funny how the small group of people that have made the biggest impact with me have only been around me for a year, and despite the fights and sadness, there will always be those memories of happiness.

If it wasn't for WoW, I don't know where I'd be right now. The artwork of the company, and the story, has left me driven to be part of that community, and part of that world. It has left me so inspired to keep trying, and I have had SO MANY great things to be thankful for.

I'm looking forward to the new memories.

Total time: 20 hours, no resources used by my own screenshots I've taken throughout the game (and some WMV images of my friends)

30 hours of work total, this will be my largest and longest piece yet. Yes, it was part of the BlizzCon 2011 lineart, but I wasn't going to finish the entire piece in time. I'm disappointed, but I will be coloring the rest of it later.

I managed to get this one done in time of the deadline.

5 of 5? Yeah...I thought I'd do the last image first...

I was supposed to do it as realistic as I could..so.. I tried.

It looks great, but horrid at the same time, I'm sure. I'm tired, but that's no excuse. I rushed this... I'm just trying to get a lot done before Monday. I have a TRADITIONAL mixed media painting that I'm working on (homg realstuffnotdigital?!), and it NEEDS to be done before Thursday.

Oh well, I'm almost done !!
