When I get bored and don't have a lot of time on my hands, I'll trace a quick pony vector.

But which pony would I trace a vector from? For the answer, I turned to my good friend, ~animenekogirl94.

I asked her to give me a number between 1 and 3 and another between 1 and 26. She gave me season 2, episode 14. The Last Roundup it is!

So I flipped through screenshots in the MLP Wiki's gallery for the episode, looking for something that I wanted to vector and hadn't been done before.

That brought me to this little gem, featuring Fluttershy being absolutely adorable and...startled...

Anyway, after Frankensteining it a bit, I was finally ready to get to vectoring.

A few hours or so, two hot pockets and a failed attempt at tutorial later, and I got this.

So, here's the .svg file. Let me know if there's any problems widdit. Peace!

Andrea Libman is looking for vectors of Fluttershy to go on her Ride to Conquer Cancer team jerseys! [link] So this is my contribution to that endeavor. The bike and the helmet are done up in the RTCC colors, which by coincidence also happen to be my university's colors.

Don't ask why there are brake levers when Fluttershy doesn't have fingers, or when there aren't even any brakes for that matter.

The bike is traced from a photo [link], and the wings and cutie mark are traced from screenshots, everthing else is all original vectoring.

Fluttershy is cutest pony, without a doubt. When I saw this Applejack screengrab, I just knew it had to be Flutterized. Just look at that adorable scrunchy face and puffy cheeks! For those Background Pony lovers out there, I also made an Applejack vector in the same pose which you can find at the Sta.sh link above. (as well as a shadeless version of Fluttershy) It's the first time I tried using softer shades like these and I think the outcome is pretty decent!

As usual, if you use her anywhere, I'd appreciate it if you linked it in the comments.

This vector was taking from Season 3 Episode 10 "Keep Calm And Flutter On" of the My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic television show. This scene was right after Discord started to gloat about how he was free to do what ever he wanted because his Fluttershy promised never to use her element of harmony against him.

There was almost no reference there for the cutie mark so i used 's resource file [link].

From Season 2, Episode 22 - Hurricane Fluttershy.

Fluttershy took second place in the poll I posted, so here's a Fluttershy vector from Hurricane Fluttershy. I had to stitch 4-5 frames together in Photoshop to get a full reference shot.

The shadows are on a separate layer in the SVG file, unlike with my previous shadowed Fluttershy vector, which should make things considerably easier for anyone who wants to use this vector without the shadowing.

Updated 01/21/13: Tweaked the wing strokes a bit to make them more consistent.

I wanted to do something artistical with vectors that wasn't just a screenshot trace. I did startwith a screenshot of Twilight Sparkle on the balcony when she sings "I Wasn't Prepared for This" in the Season 3 premier. also this is the first vector I do using Ponyscape, and I must say that I quite like it...alot, it has alot of potential in the right hands and if practiced on can reduce the time needed to vector by alot(using the "Power Stroke" feature), I'd recommend it for any new/intermediate vector artists out there! check it out [link]
