Rainbow Dash - Enter Sandman [V2]

Well, this is my version of something that I saw a long time ago and traced vectored, a while ago before I sketched, I was looking into my old vectors and was thinking "hmmm, what would it be if I sketched some of these?" And hence I came up with remaking this one, much to my pleasure.

I haven't seen a custom made guitar for ponies, so I went ahead and made a Fender Stratocaster, but changed the tip of the guitar with a cloud and added RD colors into it, the Stratocaster is an amazing guitar and I thought it suited Rainbow Well.

I might do some more of these with the other Mane Six, but as time goes, college also takes some important time plus outdoors stuff, I hope you guys enjoy this!!!

Edit: Made her tail slightly longer and centered between hind legs, and moved gradient to brighten eye a bit, changed the eye shine a bit and fixed a stroke error

After a long time, I finally did a pony vector. Since lots of people asked for rest of mane 6 in style of Pinkie Pie Cheerleader vector: [link] , I started out with Applejack.
I used couple of layers from Pinkie Pie vector (hooves, pom-poms, body (part of it), head (part of it), and ear), rest is new made.
So this is basically, first vector where I recycled part of old vector.

Starswirl the Beardicorn

What if Starswirl did manage to finish his spell back in his time? Would he have been transformed into an alicorn? Who knows. I just wanted to draw some winged unicorn. Actually, a more relevant inspiration for this was when the word "beardicorn" was coined on the Bronyville podcast last week. Although the context was unrelated to Starswirl, my imagination quickly ran with it.

An important thing to note here, is that there is really no official reference material for the character apart from his clothes. And that is assuming Twilight's costume was in fact accurate. Moreover, after my first two pencil drawings of the character, I decided to go with a more stylized look while ditching his cape and hat in the process. Basically all of his design that I'm left with is taken from other fan interpretations. Only his cutie mark is my own addition, which I drew as some rather indistinct stylized star-like shape.

Anyway, it's good to have done a new vector after a long series of paintings lately. Also I've recently participated in quite a few 30 minute challenges, which is why work on larger pieces has slowed down a bit. If you'd like to see the speed paintings, go check my Tumblr.

Well, here are my 2nd and 3rd vectored humans. (The first was Starfire many years ago.) I enjoyed trying something different, although this took a crazy amount of time. (Sorry requesters...I'll get to you soon.)

2.5 hours total for BOTH ponies. Ponies are easy.
3 Hours for hands. Hands are hard.
2 hours for bodies. Bodies are annoying.
2 hours for one face and shirt detail. Human faces are hard.
1.5 hours for the other face and clean-up. I experimented with sight lines on this one, which I haven't really done before.
0.25 hours to get the background in and set.
1 more hour of staring at it to make sure everything was good. That said, I'm pretty positive there are some things I missed. Please let me know!

Angel's First Flight

After a poll asking which Mane Six should I do next, it seems Fluttershy had the win, so as requested, here it is a deviation of the winner. Eventually I will make some of the other Mane Six, but due to time constraints, this will do for now.

For the idea of making a Fluttershy, I wanted to play around something, then I thought, "what if Angel flew for the first time?" Some people could argue that he would do great and Fluttershy would worry, but this is as how I personally saw it.

Kudos to =DShou who taught me the importance of interactions between characters and also action lines, Lol.

Hopefully I will be able to keep the fanart coming, it is sure enjoyable to portray characters in unique ways and to imagine scenarios in which the characters would be if the oportunity arised.

There will be a mix of fanart and OCs as always, hopefully these will keep improving as sketching and art progresses.

Sometimes the hare won't beat the tortoise.

I am the best around here, no doubt about it

Yesterday night, I had a small party at my house with my friends to celebrate my birthday. It was awesome! We played games, chatted, watched a movie, and had lots of Pinkie's cupcakes. Oh man... I stumbled upon a pic of Pinkie staring into a mirror and there was Pinkamena, and I thought "Yeap, this is really good. I have to try a picture myself". And here is the original:

There are times where you can actually question yourself in a mirror. And given the circumstances of our dear Pinkie having her mental breakdown, it's ever so interesting to delve into her psyche. An impossible feat, but worth undertaking!

Oh, did I mention that there is a lovely special place in Pony Hell for people who make Pinkie cry? Well I just got myself a VIP ticket!!! Anyone who would like to follow, just jump on the train along!

I have returned to drawing vectors! Sure is not very elaborate, but being sketching, achieve this pose, although simple, gives charisma to Scootaloo. Do not put more details, thinking that maybe someone could use it to create a wallpaper or something else (which would be great). Anyway, I hope you like it!
