And happy holidays everyone! I'd like to take this moment to introduce an artist whose work I've admired for many years. *einlee who created this and the Ruby Artwork you've seen thus far.

When I knew that RWBY was going to become a reality, I went over my the literally thousands upon thousands of images I've stored over the years by artists the world over. And one who stuck out to me most of so many artists I admire was her whom I discovered here on Deviantart.

The style and design of her characters as well as the emotion of her pieces is what drew me the most. Which is why I contacted her early on and discussed some of the aspects of RWBY with her.

She's helped me in designing the characters and has been pivotal in delivering the character art you've seen so far. And suffice it to say I'm more than happy with the results. Just wait til you see the (many) other characters!

Phew I made it in just under the wire.

Hey lookitthat. Some artwork from RvB season 9 in which we just shipped our DVD.

I been kinda in the dumps lately, so I felt like making something pretty. Here are the girls I was tasked in making for Red Vs Blue Season 9. We're already jumpstarting into season 10. But I promised myself I'd get some promo renders done for us to use somehow. So essentially these are really just early test renders for some artwork that may or may not be featured on our site and or products one way or another. In the meantime enjoy this somewhat lower res version.

In order of face reveals left to right.

South Dakota
Connecticut
Carolina

Did you notice:
-They're also ordered in height with South being the tallest of the girls.
-CT isn't really fond of her assigned helmet
-The parts Carolina uses from the Recon permutation are more basic/sleeker
-South Has a scar on her left cheek.
-(Really hard to notice) I layered the shaders for Carolina's eye in a unique way there is a ambient crescent green line that shows up only in certain angles.
-The rubber layer of their armor is actually a bit different than the Spartans. In fact I built it originally for them to have missions/scenes of them without armor at all. (Zero suit Freelancers lolololol)

Anyhoo diving back into RvB season 10. We've got an early start, but I've got to kick some serious ass i I wanna do this script any justice.

Transient Princess

Finally some art. About time huh?

Had this concept in my head for a while. Hair that transitions into the threads of a feather. Thought of it back when I heard about how wax extensions are done.

Anyhow I think I overdid it a bit and didn't really end up with what I was aiming for. Also there's gads of thing I didn't do, but I've already spent too much time one this one. Time to move back into movie production.

If you can't tell this is and update of an old Rinoa Artwork I did so long ago. After all that I'd added it's hard to tell it's her anymore.

This pic is a combination of multiple renders photos and a good amount of drawing. Weird thing about this is I used so many separate renders, there are "drawing issues" in that my 2D-3D process made it so that some of the layers of her dress don't make any sense, almost overlapping in an escher-ish way. But not really.

And before anyone asks, I imagine something's going on with her dress coming undone. Which is odd cause while I was thinking this up I was remembering that music video to the Duran Duran Song. If you're an 80's kid you'll know what I mean.

...Or was it ordinary world?

Whoohoo another one pushed out the door in record time.

Rinoa from Dead Fantasy II. I'm very proud of her model as I actually spent a lot of work on it. Feet are a little eehh, and the UV's on the sweater, dress, thing don't really go anywhere on the edges but whatever. I built her while I was in a hotel room.

Why so sad?
