Hi, all!! I'm so sorry that I still have yet to finish so many commissions and respond to everyone... forever T____T...

This piece is a character design for an indie video game! Her name is Namie Aluguard, the Eternal Maiden of the upcoming indie video game, Echoes of Eternea. These Fighter Contestants are Lachrymosa (the slight male) and Miriya (the girl who's in a bit of a predicament now,) for Mr. Christopher Peter's Fight! game!! It's not very apparent - does it look like Miriya's lost her progress on a magic emanation she was working on twixt her fingers? @_@ I don't believe I've enough clarity in this pic! I'll fix that very soon for y'all!

There's another fight scene to be delivered alongside this one, but instead of having the fighters involved I have them traipsing about in a fruitless chase so I may redraw it before I put it up for y'all to see~

When I get more information about the online availability of Mr. Peter's game, I'll put it up here!!

The way these were done - Mr. Peter would describe characters he desired with generous room for imagination and I'd draw them (slowly and with anatomical mistakes! "Long torso, short arms!" Oh no~)

Sorry for the really rushed background!!! I'll give her a shadow and reflections someday soon! The commissioned picture had no background or other embellishments so she was sitting on air.. This was made in a rush for Anime Weekend Atlanta 2010 (because I had a printing coupon about to expire!) Sorry for lazy use of free textures...... T^T;;

Grayscale is daunting to me and I haven't yet developed anything view-worthy enough for you all to look at yet, as I need more practice! My account on DeviantART is so old (four years-plus as of now) - those years were great blessings as I got to meet and watch myriads of eye-smashing inspiring artists like yourselves! - yet the account features so few pieces I should whup myself for shame. Fear of putting up ugly pieces was the past impetus for me practicing sketching and using mixed mediums, excusing myself from uploading, but t'was all running away and fear of criticism and rejection. If I stayed that way I'd never grow, just become soft and insipid with nothing worth looking at.

\@v@/ My middle lil sis, Exrael (online name,) and I just found out that we got an Artist's Alley table at Anime Weekend Atlanta 2009, amen!! But we have nary any art to sell, merr... @_@ Is anyone coming to AWA '09?? What will you be cosplaying, or will you be having a table there? Hazen's counterattack - I wanted to try using textures and "speed-draw" (which takes me a few days to draw a 20"x30" artwork like this one) :3

Textures are very helpful!! So are Photoshop's own thoughtfully-created paintbrushes and brush options... I hope to make some brushes on my own sometime soon! I see they can do so much realistic "fleshing out"~
