procrastination can be very crippling, and in my case it also feels really scary. The ultimate form of procrastination is depression, in which you avoid doing things that are essential for your wellbeing. So whenever I have an after-regret of avoiding things, I am reminded of how I was back when I was depressed and feel like Ive taken a step back in not being able to make myself feel good by doing things I enjoy doing, for the sake of being scared of failure or lack of self-esteem and self-discipline and concentration.

So heres to you, who are struggling with this same thing. Think of all the worlds and stories you could be helping come to life, or the people you would make happy , or the satisfaction you get when you finish something, or the feeling of finishing a paper week before the deadline.. Totally worth leaving your dashboard or e-mail alone for a few hours, right?

Wanted to draw something for , for being constantly so nice to me and to hopefully inspire her to work on her own stories and characters. (I saw that you had done your first original character ever so I wanted to draw him, took some liberties though!)

I usually don't do much of anything purely digitally, so this was fun. Currently when it comes to my art, I feel like I'm sixteen again, awkward, uncertain, and just trying out new things without being completely satisfied and knowing that there's some better things ahead for me. Bear with me as I clumsily study this wondrous thing called drawing, and seemingly go a bit backwards with everything.

so back when that one first came out I showed it to ~Nekotsume and she misheard it as "I'm-a-pharaohman"~ and then was like "lol this song should be the themesong of your character Raimo" and I was like "lol yes" and then I drew these.

And a year later I coloured them and here they are. amazing! Raimo Ra is a young pharaoh revived from the dead and he's fantabulous. He's abusing his stepmom Wilhelmina in the second one

But finally, a contest I can participate in ~ I haven't actually seen the new film but I'm familiar enough with the realm and the original works that I can only see myself as the hedonistic caterpillar. Also it was he that probably left the strongest impression on me in the Disney-version, besides the pencilbirds and the bread-and-butterflies.

I added the monocle and the puff and the blue to go with the Alan Rickmanpillar.
