As such, I thought I'd try something similar, and thus was born this vector gecko. I think I'm finaly starting to feel comfortable with Illustrator. I'm absurdly pleased with it, which means nobody else will give a damn, but hey that's life

Should anyone want it posted, I can post the vector file for the gecko.

If you would like to see how this was created, I took special measures this time to work -gasp- linearly -gasp- with the layers. To magicaly watch me work, hide all the photoshop layers, and then starting with the bottom one, make them visible.

Using some wicked reconstruction algorithmn, I was able to rebuild some more of glitchscape ( [link] )). Unfortunately I think that this extension is just as corrupted and perhaps moreso than the previous data.

Anyways, I looked at a lot of traditional asian paintings for inspiration on this one. A lot of the small details were lost when I colored and textured it, so I might upload the black and white version if anyone is interested...

Oh and as always, this was done purely in photoshop. I'm still exploring this whole style, I really want comments please! ]]> lot of work into this one, please zoom in on it, otherwise you'll miss half the detail!
