If someone hasn't read the books, than this contains very little spoilers since this is only a compilation of the major characters in the first book in the series, Eye of the World. Three main characters in the middle, villains on the top and bottom, and other characters on the sides. For those who have read the books, I dare to try and recognise them all, just to see if I got even close to making them distinguishable.

Most people probably recognize the characters and for those of you who don't, shame on you. Everyone knows this game, and everyone has their own opinion on who should play the characters if a movie was made(it is apparently still in the progress of pre-production). This is my take on the matter.

Main Cast:

Solid Snake - Michael Biehn. As it was in my first poster.
Liquid Snake - Michael Biehn. Du-uh! Clone baby!
Hal Emmerich - Chris Gorham. Just the right mix of pretty boy and geek.
Meryl Silverburgh - Tea Leoni. Possibly because I found such a nice picture of her.
Revolver Ocelot - Lee Van Cleef. Ain't no other! He's always been Ocelot.

I also put some thought on some of the other cast members:

Vulcan Raven - The Rock. Mandatory wrestler/actor.
Colonel Campbell - Richard Crenna. Just like last time.
Mei Ling - Zhang Zhiyi. A pretty asian girl. What did you expect?
Big Boss - SEAN CONNERY! Appearing in flashbacks of course.

I used the corresponding actors as reference as well as some game art. Credit for the Metal Gear REX blueprints in the back go to Yoji Shinkawa.

No seriously, its again one of those FF6 characters I've been drawing. Mog the Moogle, the dancer, the geomancer, whatever. Why do they have to stuff the moogles in almost every friggin FF game? I tried to make Mog a little bit more in my style and a bit angry. Managed to give him a tad of credibility, which isn't much.

This was relatively easy and quick. Some 3-4 hours. Pencil, ink, Photoshop CS2. ]]>

I was reading an interview where Lauren Schuler Donner was talking about upcoming Marvel films, and she mentioned that there might possibly be an appearance of Gambit in one of the upcoming films. And when asked about the actor who could play him she said that, Josh Holloway from Lost would make an excellent Gambit.

As the cajun is one of my favorite X-Men, I thought I'd make a picture of gambit based on Josh. This is what I conjured up. In the end he doesn't look much like Josh, but hey at least he looks like Gambit. I also used pics of Punisher's jacket and Batman's armor as reference for the costume. All painting and linework done in Photoshop CS2. ]]>
