This photo seems to have taken on a life of it's own, lately. I wanted to give it a home here on my Deviantart, and at least
get everyone to look at the rest of my artwork.

I've since gotten dozens of requests to remake these. I've even seen some "imitations" show up on other craft-store sites. If I wasn't so stubborn about making money from "fanart" (unlike the rest of the internet), and if they weren't so hard to make, I would definitely make more to sell.

The "secret" is simple: I bent around some design drawings that I turned into lineart in Photoshop. The real artistry is in the craftsmanship (and bloody hands!). Lots of happy accidents but I like the results. I will have to take pictures of the cookies, sometime!

If you have any doubts, well, the name "Maradin" sure seems similar to "Nidaram" : ) ]]>

I'm currently watching Zeta Gundam and wanted to try something a little more "traditional" with (what I feel are) retro stylings. The initial concept was a black Gundam wearing a spaceship.

It has lots of little sensors and thrusters, and a very traditional looking laser rifle. Definitely a fun change of pace. ]]>
