Well, I haven't made a complete manipulation for ages! I start them but don't finish them, then try to later on.
I have loads of photos that I've shot in the last few years, and it's been pointless to have them sit on the hard drive without any further use, except for blogging. But I am trying to use them again!

I am sure this common concept has been done before, but it didn't stop me from making it through my own eyes and rusty photoshop skills
Seriously, it has been along time since I've posted a manip.

I worked on this over the weekend. It has various meanings, but I guess the main one is that I've realized that since I know myself better than anyone else, I hold the key to fighting and building my own trials and battles (the ones that go on inside my head most of the time). It just takes a little time and patience, but I manage to get through it on my own deep down inside.

I am trying to work on new techniques with lighting and shadows. I brightened my screen for this piece. And then at the last moment I decided to create some snow. I thought it'd be easier since it doesn't splash like rain, and I still have to learn those effects. heheheee.

Winter Bird

This humming bird was a pain to capture!
And the horrible wind made it worse.
I used my 70-300mm Sigma. 300mm wasn't good enough so I cropped it to make it look closer lol

I put it in the photomanipulation category because
in the original photo, the sky was blinding white, so I added some textures and a blurred sky to fit my cold mood. Not a winter mood but like lonely, dark mood that I am trying to overcome.

The Lonely Wait

I made a tutorial for this:

I am having trust problems with my screens!
I'm not sure which one to trust. On my desktop screen, it looks more colorful and amazing, on laptop screen, it looks not as contrast-ish or whatever the word is! lol
or maybe it's just my headache.

Apart...but yet so close II

Some old shots from the first one I uploaded

I had such a difficult time finding some colors that fit "my" mood. I'm not quite sure what I am feeling right now.
But I noticed the reflection on the front of the heart locket necklace thingy and it looks kinda demented. I tried to remove it, but then I decided it can express some distorted distraction in my lonely life. What if in the end...I am my key? It's only myself I need?

I hate when I get lost in thought like that!!!
Anyway,

[key and heart were hanging on a chain and it took forever to remove in photoshop. since I had the chain hanging on a clothesline, I had to look up at the objects, and I say that my lens was being a bitch to not focus on the entire key hehe]
But I want it to look like they are falling for each other, or falling and not connecting in anyway. Just a waste of engery to think there's someone for me when it could just be me needing to love myself.

I feel someone in reality...is not far apart from me, but everybody tells me to wait for him. He will find me.

Both items/objects have meanings. Even though I like the key better , if it's just once quick glance at the image.
In this, I'd be the heart with the reflection, which means stuff to. Just think of it yourself. The key would be that special somebody.

I had these hanging on a necklace chain attached to the clothesline, and photoshopped to get rid of the chain and some trees in the background. So the key might look a little funny
And the stupid heart is backward. The front side had little diamond thingies.

I went out to take some new model stock pics of myself and
decided to attempt at creating something of myself.
Just added one of my own skies, which was actually pretty difficult to make look decent over the original pic.

I think I have made a manip with this title but of a different part of my poem titled "I'm still here"
This one is

Golden Storm

I went on an endless, long bike ride today in the hot weather. I hope the pics I took are worth it
I had to put a sky in this one because the field's sky was nothing interesting. Just blinding white, which can be a pain to blend a sky to that.
Since I took them at medium size, working with them in PS made my computer freeze afterwards

anyway, I'm in a golden/yellow mood of colors
And I will upload the field and sky as stock later on =night-fate-stock
