Dahulu kala sebelum Playstation dan Internet belum mewabah, lapangan adalah teman setia anak2, terutama untuk saya yang saat itu berumur 7 taun.
Saya suka main bola, hampir tiap hari saya dan teman2 bermain bersama. Tiap sore, minggu pagi, dan habis shubuh saat bulan puasa. Tak peduli panas,hujan, atau salju (kalo ada).
Saat itu adalah saat dimana rambut 'belah tengah' adalah keren dan 'belah pinggir' adalah cupu. David Beckham, Bryan Westlife, Duta sheila on 7, bahkan power ranger merah, rambut mereka semua 'belah tengah'.
Awalnya kita ga punya lapangan untuk bermain bola, di jalan gang ato pergi bersepeda dulu ke alun2 untuk main bola. Oya, kita harus menghampiri rumah temen yang lain dulu sebelum main bola, sms belum musim waktu itu.

Tapi karena tekad dan passion kita yang membara, kita berhasil membuat lapangan sendiri.
Kita kerja bakti membersihkan lahan kosong di belakang perumahan yg bersebalahan dengan (semacam) TPS warga yang pastinya lumayan bau.Lahan itu adalah bekas calon rumah yang tidak jadi dibangun.
Kita ambilin bambu yg (kayanya) ga kepake dan patungan untuk beli rafia buat bikin jala gawang. Kita kerja sampai 2 hari.
Bisa dibayangin, anak seumuran kita punya inisiatif membuat lapangan bermain yang waktu itu emang belum ada di komplek, sedangkan ketua RT, bapak2, ibu2, tante2, bahkan mas2 yang suka tanding bareng hanya sibuk dengan urusannya sendiri, sungguh benar2 kita ini anak2 harapan bangsa!hh
Akhirnya lapangan selesai, kita tambah semangat bermain. Kadang kita ditonton ibu2 yang lagi nyuapin anaknya dan kadang bola kita ga sengaja kena kepala anaknya.

Cuma bagian ga asiknya adalah saat lapangan jadi warga mulai memakainya untuk hal yang lain, seperti bapak2 yang mengajari anaknya naik motor atau ibu2 yg dengan asiknya main badminton. Itu belum seberapa, suatu hari saat kita berbondong2 menuju lapangan, kita menemukan gawang yang sudah miring dan jala yang berlubang dimana2.
Kita tidak tau sapa yg melakukannya, tapi beberapa hari kemudian diketahui pelakunya adalah mas2 yang sering bermain dengan kita (yang notabene lebih tua-anak2 SMA sama kuliahan).
Saat kita ajak tanding, mereka malah tidak mau. Geram sekali rasanya, itu lapangan kita dan kita hanyalah anak kecil yang ingin bermain bola. Akhirnya suasana bertambah panas saat teman saya marah dan merobohkan gawang. Hampir terjadi perkelahian saat itu, tapi untungnya masih ada mas2 yang baik yang akhirnya mendamaikan, mengalah dan mengajak yang lain pulang.
Berganti hari, akhirnya mas2 itu sadar justru merekalah yang sudah mengganggu dan merusak kesenangan kita, akhirnya kita berdamai dan kerja bakti membersihkan lagi lapangan.
Membeli rafia baru untuk jala, mengkokohkan gawang, membersihkan rumput liar dan putri malu, membeli bola plastik baru yg ga bocor, membuang batu2 pondasi dan menambahkan jala besar di belakang gawang agar kita tidak perlu ribut 'hompimpa' atau menunggu ada yang mengalah untuk ambil bola di tumpukan2 sampah.
Dan kita pun bermain bersama disana, kita tidak peduli bahwa kita adalah anak2 yang melawan para remaja dan dewasa. Jarang sekali kita menang, tapi itu bukan jadi masalah.

Berganti bulan akhirnya lapangan itu menjadi lapangan milik warga. Lahan itu dipakai untuk lomba 17 agustusan, ada lomba balap karung, sepak bola, bahkan panjat pinang.
Lapangan semakin bagus, sebelum dipakai biasanya bapak2 yang punya rumah di samping lapangan dengan sukarela menyemprotkan air disana, agar tidak berdebu saat kita main.
Kemudian Pak Rt memberikan jalan setapak berkonblok di samping lapangan, mungkin maksudnya supaya ibu2 bisa sambil berjalan saat menyuapi anaknya , tetapi tetap. .kadang bola kita mengenai anak itu, anaknya nangis, ibunya marah, dan kita hanya diam menahan tawa.

Sekarang lapangan itu sudah hilang dan berubah menjadi rumah. Tapi kenangan saya akan lapangan itu masih ada sampai sekarang.
Saya masih ingat dikejar anjing saat pulang. Saya masih ingat gimana nada dan intonasi yang selalu sama saat menghampiri dan menjemput teman di depan rumahnya. Saya masih ingat gimana teman saya tergopoh2 mengantarkan saya sampai ke rumah ketika kaki saya ga sengaja menginjak paku atau saat tangan saya terkilir saat mencoba salto.
Dan saya masih ingat benar bagaimana rasanya terbang saat menyundul bola dan mencetak angka, sungguh masa kecil yang sangat indah. Bersyukur kenangan2 itu yang bisa diceritakan saat menua, bukan cerita tentang episode sinetron2 sampah yang banyak meracuni otak anak2 sekarang.
