I know someone who pitches a fit at the very thought of provocation. She'd be mad at you for thinking of doing something, rather than focus on the fact that you didn't do anything at all. Whenever I make an extreme comparison to make a point, instead of focusing on the point she'd rather focus on the extreme and ignore the point altogether. This comic is a way for me to vent while keeping the subject somewhat anonymous. ]]>

Needless to say elements of the new math were kept but the bulk of it was dropped throughout the US since it sure as hell wasn't any easier to understand for the little tykes. I found myself actually understanding what Tom was saying after listening to this thing several hundred times. ]]>

Turns out Jay needed time to cool off and with the support of myself and his other supporters, he has decided not to quit the fandom (entirely) and will continue Lil Miss Rarity on the 4th.

Jay has learned from his mistakes pertaining to haters and how best to deal with them. Whenever he makes his mod blog on tumblr, he will not post things about his life, just stream info and other blog-related news. I loved reading his blog. He is so much like myself at times and he does have some fun stories. Not to mention he has a funny way of spelling things at times. But since the haters kept flooding into his blog he has decided not to fuel their fire with his own personal stuff.

Speaking of haters: did you guys know Jay has gotten death threats? Seriously... death threats over a cartoon? What's more is that Jay no longer accepts anonymous questions, so all those who went so far as to IP trace him and send pics of his own house with accompanying threat were pretty stupid since they needed to have an account to send messages. If I heard right, there have been a few arrests of these haters since Jay reported them to both Tumblr and police. Just desserts.

Lesson to you kids out there hating without a reason:

Even if you think you're anonymous, what you say can have consequences. Death threats are extremely serious and can lead up to a HEAVY fine and jail time.

Jay told me about Rarity's eventual return when I showed him my first Memorial for him. He was the first to see this and he flipped out for joy. ]]> [link]

I've been meaning to make this for a while now actually. Got bored of setting up Doctor Whooves 3 and decided to take a small break. I also mean to make a Driving Etiquette 101 sometime in the future. Maybe after the 3rd episode is done. Who knows?

This whole thing was inspired by one 3 year old sitting directly behind me while I watched "Brave" and her mother who obviously thought that watching a movie was more important than taking your child out to the hallway to pacify them. If I really want to watch a movie and had to take my 2 1/2 year old nephew with me, I'd be prepared to go home early if he started fussing.

The first cartoon I ever released to the internet and Newgrounds. Needless to say, it was blammed into oblivion and hasn't seen the light of day until now.

Just look at how far I came from 2005.


But yeah, this was the first series I planned on working on. It featured a pill popping blue guy (since foamy was popular back then) played by me and a british-ish red gal played by my sister. Needless to say the idea of the series died quickly. ]]>

Side rant: I don't know about you guys, but I absolutely HATE self-entitled customers. People who walk into a store that you work at and assume that you were put on this earth to serve them. Just to clarify:

"To receive goods or service from a business is a privilege, not a right"

On the off occasion when someone comes into my store and acts like a total dick, I'll refuse service and ask him/her to leave. If they refuse, I threaten them with police action. We do have police regulars, but they don't come in too often despite the stereotype. Actually had one guy arrested one afternoon for coming in (drunk) and calling me suggestive names. Like the British idiom for "cigarette" for example. He was out of my store in like... 2 minutes. ]]>

This took me a while to make since this was the first cartoon I made using ponies. It wasn't until after I finished Doctor Whooves 1 that I started getting a feel for the pony videos I was making. Hopefully if I improve with each episode, then episode 5 will be amazingly awe-inspiring.

Especially since I was able to meet an eager novice animator, without whom this would be another month in production, named NRGpony on youtube. We met when he was trying to make a video interviewing up and coming brony animators. His computer crashed and the rest is history, I suppose.


You guys should know who Edd Gould is, but for those wondering who Brittany Bruford is: she's my late girlfriend who died from lung failure 2 years ago. Haven't been able to hold a stable relationship since.


Now I'm starting work on finalizing the audio mix for Carnival Cat. If this turns out to be a flop, I'll stop the project and get working on Doctor Whooves 3. I have high hopes that Carnival Cat will succeed. Expect DWATA 3 sometime November.
